Not enough towels or pillows in the room. There was hardly any water pressure in the shower. The bed was very uncomfortable. I felt more like I was sleeping on an air mattress than a regular bed. It was okay for the price but I probably won't book with them again.

Old, dirty and needs renovations, cleaning owners that care. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. My shower curtain had blood on it and mold in the bathroom. Bulbs were out all over the grounds. Breakfast was low budget so it fits the condition of the hotel. Avoid this place.

Rude people, dirty room. Bathroom flooded. Not close to anything. Terrible experience

While it wasn't it Ritz, we weren't' expecting it to be at that price. The rooms were clean and functional. The only issues we had were a super loud bathroom fan and the girl at the desk not being able to open the exercise room. The fan was so loud we were hesitant to use it as not to disturb the room next to us. My wife went to use the exercise room and the woman at the desk didn't know where the key to open it was located. To be fair, I believe she was new to the job. Even with that, if you are looking for a clean reasonably priced motel in and around the Hornell Metro Area, I would highly recommend it.

locating my room was a challenge when its raining and dark. More lighting is very necessary.

No wifi in rooms, no access to gym equipment (staff did not know how door worked), no rollaway in room when requested ahead. Had to ask for towels, soap. Breakfast items were not refilled.

I booked for my daughter, 23 to take my neice, 18, to Alfred Univ. They traveled from Los Angeles and I booked the room for 2 nights. My daughter had only a backpack for a short 2 day trip. She was to bring her cousin to Alfred and then return by herself. When she returned to her room, the maid had thrown away her food in the refrigerator (her meal for the evening and juice) her freezer pac for water bottle and toothbrush and toothpaste. She did not realize her Rainbow Sandals were also missing. She contacted the front desk and was told ," Since nothing left in room, maid thought she checked out?" Joyce (front desk clerk) said she will let the manager know in the morning. I called and spoke to Joyce and was told the same and I can call Mary,MGR. at 7am the next day. I called Mary at 7:30 am EDT. I explained what had happened and asked what they were going to do about it. Mary said "1st of all, your daughter should have left something in the room" I said "what" doesn't your employee have a list of who has checked out ? You're actually going to turn this around and blame the customer?" I said my daughter only traveled with a back pack and took it with her for her lap top computer. By the way, she did leave food, drink and toothbrush and paste. Well Mary said, your daughter left the door open. I said I do not believe that . Mary said , you have to pull the door tight because it does not completely shut if you don't. I asked if she informed the guest at checkin? 2 young women traveling alone???? No they did not. So how are you going to fix this? Mary said the maid is buying new things to replace the items. I said tell the maid not to replace because the guest is getting on a plane in a few hours and already replaced her last night dinner. I told her to just give her money. By this time I was very upset that this manager had not even apologized for a mistake, just blamed the guest fot not leaving a bag. When my daughter prepared to leave, she noticed the $50 Rainbow Sandals she had worn on the flight to NY were also missing. She told Mary. Mary said for her to wait until the maid got there. My daughter waited until 9am but had to leave to get to Rochester,NY for her flight home. She gave Mary her contact info. We have heard nothing from Mary or Econo Lodge. I am aware Econo Lodge is the lowest category hotel/motel, but this is/was the closest to the college and that does not excuse rudeness or thievery by employees. We are also writing to Econo Lodge Corporate to report how they treat their customers.

Dirty water supply. WC was overflowing with water.

decent for the occasion...didnt have a problem!..check in is kind of late, but overall good stay...not much in hornell, but it was worth the cost.

I attended a friend's graduation in Alfred, NY. The location of this hotel was very close to where event took place. My room was comfortable and clean. I was happy with my stay.
