Overall a very good unique hotel. Front desk Colin on night shift was very helpful. The only downside from the room is the king bed was made out of two small beds coming together though.
Hotel De Hallen is a beautiful and quirky hotel. Wonderful staff, excellent amenities and convenient to food, local market and tram access. Highly recommended this property.
Hotel was clean, staff was super nice and location is perfect. Just far enough out of the city that it is quieter and more amongst the locals. Foodhallen is right next store which is a fun spot to grab a bite to eat. Close to the tram that takes you right to the center of the city on Kinkerstraat. I did not stay in one of their core rooms but most of them face in to a long hallway of a lobby if you had guest that were particularly noisy in the lobby late you may have issues with noise this was NOT an issue though in this case.
This hotel is super modern with good size rooms for European standards, not american. The bathrooms were really large even for american standards. However the hotel location is not the best. Due to some road construction it was a little difficult to locate. In addition, we thought the rooms without windows would not bother us but there was not enough lighting to compensate. I think this hotel is nice and new for the value but there is better out there.
most place around this area close at night, If you want a more lively place to be located yourself near central station, otherwise this is a great place to chill and relax. tram very close - a 2-3 min walk, foodhallen and filmhalen nearby if you want to stay close. Thumbs up !
This hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood. It's sweet, small and artsy. Service in the restaurant was meh, but the room was nice and the location can't be beat.
