The bill was delayed by restaurant charges. Was promised a copy by email, which never was delivered. The charge on my card was not correct, I believe, but can't be sure until I see the bill. Please request a copy to be emailed to my Orbitz email contact address.

The hotel is great the only issue right now is they are doing construction on top floors.

We spent a week at the Amsterdam Marriott downtown hotel. What a great hotel! The location is ideal. Within walking distance to everything you'd want to see. The restaurant downstairs "midtown grille" is fabulous too. Ranked #1 steak house in Amsterdam, I see why!! Delicious!! Make reservations, as they fill up fast. It was my birthday when we arrived and the hotel manager noticed on my ID and surprised me with chocolates. Amazing hotel!! Highest of recommendations!!!

We found the employees very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, clean and very comfortable.

Walk to EVERTHING Best breakfast in the world Flriendliest staff

Porter was extremely welcoming upon arrival at the hotel from the airport. He assisted us with our bags and provided us a map of the city - he even highlighted all of the attractions we would want to hit. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and plenty spacious for my husband and me. We enjoyed use of the bathtub to soak our tired limbs each night after walking and walking all over Amsterdam. Such a beautiful city! This hotel's location is fantastic - really close to everywhere we wanted to go - museums, canals, parks, coffeeshops, etc. We had a meal in Sorel's and grabbed coffee there one morning. Both experiences were great. The food we had for dinner was fresh and deliciously prepared. The hotel was able to store our bags for us for a couple of hours after we checked out the last day as we killed some time before our train to Paris. The porter grabbed us a taxi and had us on our way within 5 minutes of our return to the hotel to leave for the train station. My only gripe with this hotel is that they charge a hefty fee to get WIFI in your room. They mentioned that if you book through a 3rd party site such as Orbitz, WIFI is not included in the rate. It was 10-20EU / day for WIFI access in the room, which seemed hefty to my husband and me. We would probably look into other hotels right in that same area that include free WIFI if we return to Amsterdam again, which we are likely to do. It's a great city! There was free WIFI in the hotel lobby and restaurants.

Location was great and convenient, and the room was extremely comfortable. It is a modern hotel, and similar to any modern hotel in the world, with nothing to distinguish it in any way.

Great hotel, easy access to 2 downtown. Very helpful staff...safe area

very clean, well located, delicious breakfast, helpful staff, free wifi in the lobby, concierge made great restaurant recommendations

We took a weekend trip to Amsterdam and wanted to enjoy the night life and everything was in walking distance. Hotel staff was top notch!! Made us feel welcomed and like we where at home.

Power was out the day we arrived and was unable to get in my room until 6 that evening. Nothing was given for the hassel and they still wanted to charge me $20 for wifi in my room. For the price I paid for this hotel you would think wifi would be included, I get free wifi at the super 8 they might want to rethink their policy.

Room service is not good , but the managers very helpful . rooms are very small & business centre is out of order & no free wi fi ( 5 starts hotel !!!) the bath rooms are very small

No guessing; all you expect from a Marriott. A really good experience for a first trip to Amsterdam. Excellent service, very clean room, great access (easy short walk) to the heart of Amsterdam without the noise of the old city center. Planning to stay there again on next trip.

Great location and comes with excellent service and accommodations you can expect with any Marriott hotel. TIP- Breakfast is bountiful but expensive. When making reservations, pick room that comes with breakfast or get your breakfast outside the hotel. There are many restaurants or bakeries you can get to within 200 meters from the hotel.

Well this hotel was in a perfect location for everything. After walking around all day it was great to sleep in a comfortable bed.

Having toured Amsterdam for 4 days on land and water, I can tell you that this is the best location. The staff is great. The rooms are fine. You should be happy with this choice.

This is a decent hotel with excellent location but it is definitely not a 5 star hotel. I would call it a 4 star hotel with some reservations. As long as you don't have very high expectations it is very adequate and considering it has one of the best locations in the city - it's a 5 minute walk to the Reich Museum, Van Gogh Museum etc.- I would recommend it. The rooms are large (especially for a European city) some with 2 queens.

Last night in Europe and needed easy to get to hotel to fly home next morning. Comfortable hotel walking distance to downtown. Nothing special

Ideal location - near to museams, nightlife and shopping areas. Helpful and friendly staff. Possibility of express checkout. Rooms are clean, but very poor equipped for 5 star hotel - no slippers, no bathrobe, only one small can of shower gel. In general - very good hotel, clean and comfortable, but feels more like 4 stars with the cost of 5*.

wonderful location near the museums and all that's happening in amsterdam. formulaic marriott rooms but has all the essentials. 20euro/day for internet is way too much
