The hotel is modern and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I had a very silent and cosy room to the direction of the channel. The neighbourhood is residential and nice. The tram and metro to the city centre are close by.

Rooms are big and light, service staff are super friendly and welcoming! Loved the breakfast, was a bit confusing and service not always the best however they did work really hard and the food was awesome. The location is great, central but not too central that it is noisy. Opposite a tram line and an AH which is great for getting milk or late night snacks! Loved staying here and definitely will return!

Hotel was only 7 months old when we visited so it was fresh. The design of the room, lobby and spa was super modern and contemporary. Staff was extremely nice trying to help out with everything from check in to room service. Food wasnt amazing but it was decent both restaurant and roomservice. But sandwich from the small market tasted like vomit to us so dont recommend that one. They offer bikes for 17€ which at first sounded a bit much but when they brought those beautiful bikes and we got to ride them it was well worth it. Definitely recommend while its still new and fresh :)

Just spent three nights in The Hyatt Regency, Amsterdam. What a great hotel. Good location for exploring the city. On a team line, so very easy to get around. The hotel rooms are spacious and well appointed, very comfortable beds. But the jewel in the crown of this hotel are the lovely, friendly staff. From the reception, restaurant, housekeeping, everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Mama Makan restaurant serves the most delicious food (try the rijsttafel, an Amsterdam speciality) Breakfast selection is good, buffet and a la carte, the eggs Benedict were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a haven to return to after a hectic day in Amsterdam.

The hotel is off the busy old town. It is in a quiet area. You can get to the Van Gogh and Rijt museums very easy using the trams 7 or 10 that go through the hotel street and they are 3 stops away. The hotel also sells tickets to the museums, this is important because it can save you 3 hours in line. The hotel has a nice inside wall with plants and bar. It served nice breakfasts.

The hotel is located about ten minutes from the city center. Convenient transportation within walking distance. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was updated and spotless. Would stay here again.

A great hotel experience in the middle of Amsterdam. Breakfast and dinner (Indonesian food) were of great quality. Staff was friendly and service was good. We enjoyed our short stay and will definitely return.

Had a great experience . Rooms very big especially relative to other hotels in town. Very child friendly for anyone planning a trip to Amsterdam with kids. Breakfast very good , omlettes to order. Executive lounge amazing.

The staff at the hotel were amazing. Totally helpful in a friendly and unpretentious way. We arrived late and the helped find us a restaurant which was open late. When checking out early morning they offered me a latte to go for the ride to the airport. Really fantastic experience. The hotel itself was clean and spacious despite being somewhat unattractive from the outside. Highly recommended!

Some reviewers view it as a negative that it is not in the center of the city. I view that as one of the things I liked most about it. It is a short walk, maybe 15 minutes, from the major attractions but is away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet residential neighborhood. Just one block from the metro station. Breakfast in the lobby is great, as is the service. Each morning as we ate our breakfast, we enjoyed looking out the lobby window to watch the endless parade of people on their bikes--way more bikes than cars would go by. Also loved the smart tv in our room; was able to stream movies from our Netflix account. Would definitely stay here again.
