My favorite place to stay in Myrtle. Far enough away from the strand to get away from the crowds but close enough that it's all still convenient. Love the rooftop pool and hot tubs! Restaurant is wonderful! Staff is fantastic!

Not bad, but not great. Nice location for shoppers. Parking garage sucks because it's narrow and takes 10 minutes just to drive in or out. Elevators and parking not the most convenient. It is an exterior entry hotel, so by default, not as nice as an all interior only hotel. I've had much better hotels for the money(same town, same exact dates, different years). One can do better, but I guess if you have to, at least you won't hate it.

First time ever at Myrtle Beach as well as a trip with just my sister in law. Location was perfect for being on the beach as well as just hanging by the pool. When checking in the staff was great at providing information on local attractions and even called the room to make sure we had everything we needed and everything was ok.

Hotel was a good value for the money. Never got the chance to use the pools but they looked clean and alot of people were in them. Staff was super nice and friendly. No complaints.

This was a busier location than I thought. Aging hotel but they do a good job of keeping it clean. The pool area was never dirty. Very busy spot.

Very nice area. Hotels on the beach. Friendly at the desk. Nice clean rooms. The pools where great. Nice yard to relax .

The rooms were clean and the staff was very accommodating. The best view was from the hot tub on the 7th Floor overlooking the ocean.

I loved the stay the only bad thing was we were to be checked in at 4 but they didn't have our room ready till 5:30 that day that was awful. but it has the best views i loved my room it was a great stay they gave us a 20.00 Breakfast for free at the resort for having to wait so long for our room over all it was a great time just wish we would have been closer to the boardwalk but we found it and had a great time :)

Went to the beach for a few days over spring break and stayed at the Grand Shores. The room was comfortable and clean. The free movies and the restaurant and lounge were nice perks. Nice area of the beach also, not right in the heart of everything.

When we arrived after traveling 4 hours with 3 boys all with Autism ( which makes a long confined ride difficult) we were told they did not have our reservation. I had a printed con formation with me but that didn't matter. After about an hour of searching were told they only had a room big enough for all of us for the first night and second night ( which ended up being in the middle of our beach time) we had to pack everything up and move to a one bedroom with small pullout loveseat. Were told to be at new room at approx. 11:30 , we were and waited on someone to come let us in for 45minutes. I was LIVID !!!! It is hard enough to stand in the heat with 3 children and almost unbearable with 3 special needs children who really don't understand what is going on.

It was a little out there away form all the action , but walking to all stores close to the groceries store and restaurants . Bone fish grill just up the street. Best bang-bang shrimp you'll ever eat. Hotel was very clean. The pepole there are kind and helpfull the lazy rivers were awesome both of them the pools were close upper level and lower one and the beach rite out the back door. It was awesome too. The sand was white and clean I am glad that our choice was the grand shores hotel. I'll be back again and again !!!!!

Grande Shores Ocean Hotel was beautiful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The close access to the beach was awesome. The hotel staff was friendly and always smiling. We had a great time!

The room was small for the rate and also old furniture, bad bathroom (small) equipment and carpets.

Room was clean and location of hotel is right on Myrtle Beach at the North end of the strip. The hotel is an older building with some signs of wear and tear. Food at hotel restaurant was average at best. Pool on main floor was good with easy access to the beach. Small hot tubs and small pool on 7th floor was good to get away from children.

Well, I've had bad experiences in the past with hotels and so I asked to see the room first and they were happy to let me. The room was nice and clean. It may not be a brand new hotel, but it was well taken care of. I will defiantly stay here again and hopefully soon. Had a great time.

Our situation was complicated, but both check in and check out took a very long time. Everything else was a grade of a solid C. We could've paid more and gotten a cleaner and quieter room elsewhere, but for the money and what we needed, it checked the box.

Came in to Myrtle Beach for a wedding. The close convenience to the wedding was a big reason for choosing Grande Shores. The room had an excellent view of the beach. I'd stay there again!

We were there for three days and had a great time. It was a little on the cool side, wish it could have been warmer. Only complaint was we had an ocean front room but on the second floor which made the ocean view blocked by palm trees, but other than that it was great

Rooms were average, nothing to write home about, but it got the job done. Good for a weekend wedding stay.

Different Hotel. I did enjoy the parking by your room ordeal. The sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it first opened. They had 2-bottles of lotion, but no shampoo/conditioner (more important than lotion). When we booked the rom- it said oceanfront, but it was from the side. Had to sit outside or look from an angle to see the ocean. You do not want to stand barefoot on the carpet. The sheets were clean :) We always take our own pillows and blanket. Overpriced to be off-season.
