2/10 Terrible

We got an unclean room with a broken toilet, and had to pay early check-in for the privilege. When I opened the lid for the power outlets on the work desk, I saw a clipped toenail inside. The Hilton's 'Hot Tub' was a lukewarm puddle of water with no jets, and white chips of something littering the bottom. It obviously has never been cleaned. There often were food trays littering the hallways, stains in the elevator floors stayed for days, and, since the hotel uses robot vacuums which are too big to reach the sides of the hallways, unclean carpets along the rooms.
We were told there'd be a fire drill, and to ignore it. Hard to do when there's constant blaring, but what they forgot to mention to any guest was that it would lock down most of the elevators. People kept standing around waiting and wondering why no elevator came.
Staff was pretty aloof. Even when not busy, we sat in the lobby bar and waited more than an hour for a sandwich and a cheese board. When we said to cancel the order cause we don't have forever, the food arrived 10 minutes later.
The breakfast buffet is big and good, except that on our first morning, Hilton had obviously not expected the large number of stranded passengers booking, so half of the buffet was out. They couldn't even produce any butter.
The whole stay was just unacceptable for the rates they charged, and when a hotel doesn't have a real hot tub, they shouldn't advertise it.
