Close to airport and friendly staff, nice amenities.

Our family arrived at 1:20pm for two rooms. They said the would not check us in until after 2pm unless we paid 22.50 euro per room for early check in. Such incredibly poor customer attitude. Recommend Sheraton which is much closer to airport and train terminals.

Overall the room was OK..the room was a bit drab. Could use better lighting inside the room considering the odd placement of the small windows. Staff were great and pretty good breakfast buffet items..

The property was very well maintained and the staff was friendly and attentive. It was a short walk to the airport to catch our flight. Overall, our experience was wonderful!

As a place to stay near the airport, this is an excellent hotel. Desk and service staffs were excellent. The restaurant staff was distinctly less so. There are less expensive alternatives, so the motivation must be high to want to stay at this hotel.

I didn’t have working heat and it was very difficult to get the staff to respond (or do anything) in a professional and logical manner. Alexander, one of the managers was not helpful, but finally Jan ((duty manager) helped. The room was still cold, not adequately heated and I was very very uncomfortable.

The first time I stayed in the Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol was in March 2015. The rooms were nice, clean and the bathroom was big in comparison with similar hotels. The restaurant dinner menu had a great selection and the breakfast the following morning was wonderful. On 1-24-2019, I arrived in the late afternoon. When I was getting ready for dinner, I quickly got aggravated with the ridiculous small trash can in the bathroom, every time I stepped on the lid paddle the can would move and bang against the wall. I also noticed that the hotel room was showing a lack of maintenance and cleanliness. The cleanliness of the shower was questionable. One of the doors on the coffee and refrigerator cabinet had a broken hinge. That evening in the restaurant, I ordered the “Indonesian Risolles” dinner. The Nasi had too much soy sauce and the plate was too crowded. The following morning the breakfast was disappointing. The bread selection was great but in comparison with my prior stay, there where less cold cuts and NO smoked Salmon, less fruit and the scrambled eggs were to creamy that you tasted the sauce but not the eggs. On 1-25-2019, during my check out at 10:30 am, a lady wanted to check in but was told that that was not possible because check in is at 2:00pm!!!!. Your hotel is at an AIRPORT where people arrive the whole day long. What a humiliating customer service not allowing the customers to freshen up after a long flight.

Very friendly personel, great layout of the hotel and of the rooms. Comfortable and quiet.

In exchange for signing up to hilton honors I was “upgraded” to an airport view room versus a covered courtyard room (in spite of expressing concerne about noise). it was a rainy night and the rain was very noisy on the huge window, in between rain There was an annoying “tap tap” noise from a drain and the room temperature was cold. They only allow up to 23 degrees temp but the termostat is near the door, by the huge window Is a lot colder. I would have been much better off in my original room facing the covered courtyard.

For a corporate/airport hotel, the facility was homey, comfortable, and convenient even for getting to the city center. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the meals at the restaurant were high quality.

Staff was rude and wasn't accommodating at all. Extra charge for king instead of two twins. If booking on points, expect two twin and staff that wont give you the time of day. It's also quite a far walk from the terminal.
