Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Nice hotel convenient location, very hard to spot their transfer shuttle, the Hyatt Place Logo is not clear and obvious. The staff was stressed and busy not a typical welcome of Hyatt.

The free shuttle worked well as scheduled. It would be helpful for the hotel to show on their web site where the shuttle picks up & the schedule. The check in was smooth and desk staff very helpful. The room was well appointed with black out curtains and a very comfortable bed.

Great place to stay! We needed to stay for one night and the accessibility to the airport is really close and easy. Very friendly staff (the shuttle drivers and the staff at the hotel). We were with our 3 year old and it was great that we were able to order from the restaurant and take it to our room.

This hotel ,near to the airport, but not within walking distance. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. However, the shuttle location was hard to find; it is not located in the same area as other hotel shuttles. We had to ask it was located. Having said that, the waiting area is inside the building and not out in the elements. The rooms are very nice and the employees very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was great, the only suggestion is that the airport shuttle be available earlier in the day.

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with good beds and large bathrooms and showers. Excellent breakfast with plenty of space. Quick check-in and out. Only criticism is airport shuttle is not big enough for demand, have stayed twice and the shuttle was unable to take all the waiting clients both times - reservation system to return to airport works well, though.

Used to adjust to time change and to return back home on either end of trip. Shuttle convenient. Affordable! Recommendation for local restaurant Der Burch excellent.

This is a very convenient hotel for those who want to stay close to the airport but also for those who want to explore Amsterdam. I hesitated to stay here at first because I didn’t know how far it was from the city. It was easy and fast. The hotel offers a free shuttle. Make sure to stay by door/exit 4 at the airport. To help you with location, there’s a Starbucks and a bookstore inside the airport by that exit. A van will pick you up there and take you to the hotel. If you plan to explore Amsterdam, you have to book/reserve the shuttle at the front desk. You can choose any time you want, it goes every 30 minutes (from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm). It leaves on time. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport. From there, you can purchase a train round trip ticket to Amsterdam, I believe it was less than 9 euros. The train ride is about 15 minutes to Amsterdam central.

They have a great free breakfast, the best I've ever had for a hotel. They did a super job getting us tickets to the Keukenhof Gardens, round trip bus ride from the hotel included at a good price. I'd stay there again.

Was all ready for bed tried to call for a wake up call phone did not work had to get dressed and go to Lobby to administer a wake-up service

Quick overnight layover. Close to airport, clean, nice rooms.

It was a wonderful hotel and experience all around. The staff were top notch and the room was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

No toilet door! Which is gross. Reception offered different room but we where totally beat after a long flight and didn’t want to pack up and move anymore,(we are seniors) . We only spend one night there anyway. apart from that staff was excellent.

Very convenient close to the airport we were leaving orly in morning the shuttle service was excellent

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff was very helpful. Room was nice. Breakfast was good. It takes about 10 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel by the hotel shuttle. Will definitely stay again in the hotel.

Orbitz confused my information regarding email and Hyatt Passport # with the hotel.

The hotel offers shuttle from the hotel to the airport and from the airport you can take the train going to the central armsterdam . When you arrive in the airport just go to the shuttle services and it’s free. They have a heated floor in the bathroom. Great hotel I would say.

Room was large and well-equipped with sitting area, desk, refrig., safe, ironing board. Bed very comfortable. Quiet with windows closed. Climate control worked well. Staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast with numerous choices.

Great stay. Close to airport, clean and welcoming hotel and staff.

We were traveling from Madrid with an overnight stay in Amsterdam. The hotel is very convenient to the airport, with a free shuttle to and from the airport. The stay was excellent with a great room, very clean and well furnished. We ate breakfast in the hotel, the next morning and it was one of the best hotel breakfasts ever, There were eggs, bacon, potatoes as well as a very large selection of fruits and breads. Overall, it was an excellent stay there and we would definitely stay there again
