The tv (Netflix, YouTube) did not work, the front desk agent was also not able to get it to work, advised us that he would leave a free breakfast with the front desk for the inconvenience, which he did not. When we asked about breakfast that was offered the morning clerk just advised there was no breakfast voucher, but didn’t even bother asking why this was offered and what the issue was. Additionally we found garbage under the bed.

Needs better room design.

Location good if you need access to Schiphol. Quick bus back and forth. Price was affordable. The layout of the room is somewhat questionable. Glass door to toilet (and absolutely no soundproofing). Glass door to shower. Glass wall between shower and bedroom. ??? So I’m not supposed to want privacy of any kind? Good luck if you share that room with anyone but your partner. Our room had a window to the inner courtyard so we could not have the blinds open or anyone walking by our room could see into our shower. So our room was always dark and the lighting was terrible. Track lighting is never good.

Had a great stay. Love the sustainability practices. They plant a tree on your behlf if you forego 1 day's room cleaning. So cool. Will definitely stay here again. Was super convienet to grab a bus to the airport, they come every 5 minutes to the stop closest to the hotel, which was less than a 5 minutes walk. From there, we were easily able to grab a train to anywhere in the city.

**Review for Hotel the Florian, Amsterdam** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hotel the Florian in Amsterdam, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! This hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience. First, the location is incredibly convenient. It’s just a quick 5-minute bus ride from the airport, which made my arrival and departure so stress-free. Plus, it’s only about 25 minutes away from central Amsterdam, making it easy to explore all the iconic sights without feeling overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The room itself was beautifully designed—very clean and inviting—with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The decor perfectly reflects the charm of Amsterdam, and I loved having a nice view of the surrounding neighborhood. One of the standout features of the hotel was the attention to detail provided by the staff. They went above and beyond with their service and provided great recommendations for local dining and attractions, which really enhanced my experience in the city.
