The hotel and room were fantastic. It’s such a struggle to find a family room with disabled facilities. Our room was spacious, spotless and had a perfect bathroom (except the non soft closing toilet lid) All staff members were very helpful, professional and welcoming. The breakfast was great and the hotel has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. A negative point is the distance from the centre of Amsterdam. Although I realised this when booking, disappointingly, the free shuttle bus was not available to wheelchair users. Despite it having a ramp, the driver hadn’t been trained on how to use it! This meant a €50 taxi fare to Schipiol to catch a train to Centraal or an unsafe and uncomfortable journey by wheelchair to and from Hoofdorp station, which involved passing over 4 cattle grids, with the frightening prospect of a wheel becoming stuck. If the shuttle bus was wheelchair accessible, I’d consider staying here again when visiting Amsterdam.

It was perfect for our overnight stay in Amsterdam, shuttle to hotel from airport was great with my Husbands mobility scooter. Staff were very helpful and supper and breakfast buffet were great!

Staffs we friendly. Place was clean. Train station closeby but it was a challenge because path had stairs … no ramps. Train station no instructions on how to get tickets. For Nederlands citizens this is 2 nd nature for them but for tourists you have to have instructions. If you have hotels, expect guests/ tourists.
