The room was not that clean, and the light over the sink did not work. The situation with the shuttle is very bad; it is an old bus that serves various different types of Ibis hotels and is not nearly big enough. The hotel itself if very nice: I appreciate the decor, the free coffee, the friendly staff, and the proximity to the Amsterdamse Bos. The prices are good and I will come back again provided the shuttle improves.

The hotel was fine. HOWEVER. The shuttle from the airport was a nightmare. Nowhere in the instructions from the hotel did it mention there is more than one Ibis Hotel and therefore more than one shuttle, or that the shuttle made stops, or not, depending on the shuttle, at the various hotels. The shuttle was so packed that we were crammed in like sardines. Then we got off at the wrong hotel - no announcements on the bus - no signs anywhere - or any way for us to know this until after we waited in line to check in. We then needed to wait another hour for a shuttle to our hotel, which was the Ibis Styles. The entire process took about 3 hours! Stay at another hotel or take a cab!

The hotel was very modern and clean with friendly staff. It was also great to have a free transfer to and from the airport. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the cleaners were also really lovely. It would have been better to have had a kettle in the room instead of having the pay anytime you want hot water or coffee. The only other negative is that I feel the breakfast was overpriced for what you got. Overall a really great stay, would recommend if wanting to stay near to the airport.

A great buffet dinner and breakfast were part of this very reasonably priced accommodation, along with an excellent room. Though the parking garage was full at my arrival, I parked on the street adjacent to the hotel. The staff was welcoming and anxious to help with questions. Of all the hotels on my 5-week trip, this was at the top of the list.
