There is a big, uncovered parking lot available right outside of Tancredo Neves International Airport. However, the lot is subcontracted, so the operator can set its own prices, which the airport does not advertise or control. The airport merely states that the prices are in line with the local market. However, rates should be approximately R$4 for the first hour, with a day rate of R$30 for the first day.
Tancredo Neves International Airport is connected to the Belo Horizonte downtown area by express bus. The Conexao Aeroporto express bus costs approximately R$18. There is also an express bus that connects Tancredo Neves International Airport to Belo Horizonte/Pampulha-Carlos Drummond de Andrade Airport that costs approximately R$45. There is regular public bus service and taxis available at both airports. The majority of the taxis in the city use white cars, so they are easy to spot. Taxi service from Tancredo to the city center will cost approximately R$90. At the airports, you can also hire a car in advance. These cars are dark blue. You can also rent a car at the airports from car rental companies such Avis, Budget, Hertz, Localiza and Unidas.
Tancredo Neves International Airport has limited dining options available if you want to grab a bite before a flight.
