Travel from Newark Liberty into Midtown Manhattan is by taxi only, at a cost of about $60.

While there is no definitive tourist season for New York, one of the best times to visit the city is during the performing arts season from September to March. The weather during this period can get chilly, with high temperatures running from the mid-70s in September down to just under 40°F in January. Wear warm clothing when visiting during the winter. Be aware that the city fills up beginning slightly before Christmas and lasting past New Year's Day, so room prices may rise slightly.
