Home to Sheppard Air Base, Midwestern State University, and the Hotter n Hell 100 bike race, as well as a slew of other attractions, this extremely comfortable home is directly adjacent to the country club/country club cottage area in Wichita Falls-the perfect area for a relaxing, shaded walk, run or bike ride. It's walking distance to Parker Square, which features Cinemark Theatre with stadium seating, Jason's deli and so much more!

This bright open space has 3 spacious, well appointed sleeping areas, with 3 comfortable queen sized beds, all topped with gel infused memory foam mattress toppers for a great nights sleep. There are two bedrooms, with a third bed in the 2nd living area, screened off from the kitchen for privacy (see photos). The bathroom down the hall has everything you need and more, including a small selection of toiletries, just in case.

The completely kitchen just calls out for use with it's beautiful granite countertop, gas stove, double ovens, and everything the experienced cook would need.

Add in the comfortable living room prime for entertaining or just kicking back to watch a blu-ray movie on the flat screen and you'll soon find you don't want to leave! With the Roku, you can log into and enjoy your favorite streaming services.

When you have all of this and ease of access to hiking, biking, golfing and more, the only question is, why isn't your vacation here yet?

Very cozy place. Felt homie. I liked that the back yard is fenced in. Lights bulbs need to be replaced outside front and back and under the hood vent. No small towels in bathroom and no paper towels in kitchen. Told owner. She said she would take care of it. Had a great stay otherwise.

Great Family lodging

This property provided us with all the comforts of home while we traveled for the holidays. The kitchen had the most pots, pans, baking dishes, and kitchen utensils I have experienced at any VRBO rental. Having two sofas in the living room was great for lounging with family. The smart TV had plenty of apps pre-loaded for use of the TV. There is a Walmart, bowling alley, and several restaurants and shopping locations within a 5-minute drive.

Home away from home

I stayed at Shannon's place for about two months and it was exactly what I needed. I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed, and there is everything you could need within a short drive. The kitchen was great for the large amount of baking I did while there. I would definitely stay here again and Shannon was a great host!

Comfort and location

Shannon was a great host, always available and made sure the house met our needs. Shannon had a beautiful arrangement of flowers to greet us. House is just as pictured and truly represents "all the comforts of home". We slept so well on the beds. Although we did not utilize the kitchen during our stay, it had everything one would need. Only comment I would add is that the house lists as sleeping 6, yet our party of 5 got charged an "additional guest fee". Thank you, Shannon, for allowing us use of your house.

Best Place Ever

This place is amazing, perfect size, great quiet neighborhood, close to everything. Shannon is most amazing, she worked with our ever changing time frames, was available whenever we had questions, checked on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was good and check if we needed anything. Perfect home away from home

We came to the area to spend time with our youngest daughter. We were not disappointed. Shannon was a wonderful host, and quickly and promptly took care of any issue we had. The house was well stocked, and had a nicely stocked little library, and even some puzzles to help one pass a nice laid back afternoon. The house was centrally located, and nothin took longer than 10 minutes to reach, which was nice, especially after a 10 hour road trip! We stayed here a week, and could've easily stayed longer. The kitchen was really nice, loved the double ovens! We look forward to our next trip to the area already! We would definitely stay here again!

Just what we were looking for!

We were at Wichita Falls for the NHPA World horseshoe tournament. This property was just what we were looking for, it is an older home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a lot of updates and is well taken care of. It is well stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, toiletries any other personal items that you may have forgotten. Shannon the property manager was great, she was in contact and made the whole process quite easy. She was readily available if we had any questions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Nice little house!!!

Me and my kiddos stayed for an extended period of time and we loved it! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. (Shannon knew we were arriving later in the evening and had eggs and milk in the frig waiting for us!!!) The kids loved having so many options on the tv with the Roku and internet for our devices. The beds were very comfy with the memory foam toppers. Plenty of sheets, pillows and towels. Having a fenced back yard and close to a garbage dump were huge! The location was super convenient and close to everything. I could go on and on... And Shannon was so great!!! Very helpful and even went out of her way for me and my kids several times which was amazing! I would always check the availability here if coming back to town!
