Let’s start with Check-in. The person at the reception was very courteous provided me the key. When I went to the room, my key card did not work. I went down the elevator and when informed, they said maybe the battery on the door card reader needs to be changed. They quickly provided me a different room. The room was pretty old and dated. It requires renovation. But I got a CN tower view which was appreciated. The light on the entrance was the only light apart from the bathroom light which was easy accessible. It took me 10 mins to figure out how to switch on other lights. Atleast have a master switch or easy accessible switches. The phone was dirty and dusty. Looked like it hasn’t seen a duster not a sanitizer. The shampoo and conditioner smelt great. I loved it. The bathroom was clean. The pillows were very soft for my preference. Once I laid my head, it became flat as a pancake. I used 3 pillows. Overall I did not have a comfortable sleep. Breakfast was the worst.. the quality, service and selection. Limited options. Will not visit again.

Check in was very good , friendly and efficient I was however extremely disappointed to find the pool that is advertised as suitable for swimming indoor and outdoor year round was far from what was advertised. I have 2 children and swimming was one of the primary reasons for coming here only to find we couldnt swim as it was cold Additionally the TV in our room wasnt working, attempts to solve the problem failed and we had to switch rooms which took longer than it should have given it was 9:00 pm and I had children to put to bed Very disappointing

It’s hard to justify it basic room for $522 a night on a weekend. I know it’s in downtown Toronto, but inflation has gotten ridiculous.

There was a large conference for a union vote happening while we were there. The room they were given to party in was directly beside ours. We have Young kids. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone, they never did. We spoke to the party and they did apologize and told the hotel not to put any families around them Everything else was great. Just not be able to sleep at a hotel is tough.
