Bed bugs here, no refund from management

I checked in and as I always do, immediately checked the beds and found bed bugs. We complained to the hotel staff and said we would not stay there but since the supervisor was not present she said there was nothing she could do and she couldn’t refund my money. Booked this through hotels.com and they offered me a $25 One-key credit for a room that cost me over $110.

Half way to OHIO

Friendly / fast check in and out Clean room Comfortable bed and pillows Friendly breakfast lady. Breakfast were eggs/bacon/sausage patties, yogurt, cereal, waffles day 2 were eggs/bacon/sausage patties biscuits / gravy TV issues .. the guide that is on the TV and the service they have do not match up , so you can't find a show to watch on the guide and type it in. Internet even though they give you the passcode as reward .. it takes forever for you to bypass the confort rewards to sign up for. I want a FREE internet and no rewards BS to have my email overloaded with crap.

Frige, coffee maker and microwave are located in a strange place sitting just inside the door tucked in a corner, inconvenient location. Outside pool closed for the season but our bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water. Friendly, helpful staff!

The lady who checked us in couldn't have been nicer. And that's about the only thing good I can say about the stay. The room had a very bad odor. The floors were too dirty to walk on with bare feet. The room had obvious wear that was poorly repaired. The security latch on the door was barely hanging on. We were only there one night and left as soon as we got up the next morning after a horrible night's sleep.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and I didn’t expect to see a hot breakfast in the morning. I thought it would be the usual pastries and oatmeal. I’m traveling on my motorcycle and the washer and dryer was very convenient.
