The staff was extremely helpful especially when the drive from the shuttle could not find the hotel! The food was wonderful. The rooms were clean. It is in a great location and close to many shops and restaurants.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. Overall, the hotel appearance was very pleasant. The lobby was very bright, very open. The room was very nice. Great place to sleep after a long hard day. Also would be a great place for a romantic get away.

At first glance this hotel seemed sort of "meh"... but the staff go above and beyond to make sure everything was wonderful. They have an amazing shuttle system where they take you to old town or to the Metro. They have a wonderful breakfast, and to go breakfasts if you are heading out early. Very clean. Well kept hotel. Friendly wonderful staff.

Everything was about the my stay except for the reception on the TV. Some of the channels(the ones I was trying to watch) didn't come in clear enough to watch.....

The morning breakfast staff was slow to refill several items. Had to wait 10 minutes for coffee. Waffle mix was empty. Raisins and almonds for the oatmeal were empty.

This Hampton Inn was great, as they usually are. Made my trip very comfortable.

Great location!! Super close to the concert location and clean/safe room.

We only stayed at the hotel for 1 night. We arrived Saturday 1 hour before check in and they went ahead and let us into our room. The room was clean and comfortable bed. The hotel is very close to alot of restaurants and only 3 miles away from Tanger Outlets. We went to the outlets Saturday and ate at Outback Steakhouse on Richmond Hwy. for dinner. They don't have room service or restaurant in hotel. We didn't eat the breakfast because we had a game to go to. Walmart right down the road as well.

Location, for someone without a car is not great but the shuttle makes up for it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice Hampton Inn near down town DC with easy access.

We enjoy staycations at this Hampton Inn. Clean quiet rooms and a great breakfast. I is pleasant and helpful.

Selection average; preparations of hot food esp. eggs (with cheese 'ham')disappointing. Staff very cordial and helpful on close by locations info.

Had to book a last-minute trip for a funeral service in Alexandria and a side trip into DC for passport corrections. This location was so convenient (only 5 min from the funeral home). We arrived late the night before & were greeted by helpful, knowledgeable staff who were waiting for us and had all the info we needed. Used the hotel's shuttle twice to get to & from the Huntington Metro station - very quick service - and the complimentary hot breakfast was delicious. Great stay... will definitely stay there in the future.

2 Credit Cards and 2 Checks stolen. Spoke with the GM who was RUDE and insisted that I "lost" them (they never leave my wallet, except to make a purchase). She told me that her staff is "honest" and would "never" steal. She told me to file a police report, which I did. A MAJOR inconcenience to cancel credit cards and stop payment on my checks while on the road (traveling for 6 weeks). I DID file a police report (investigation ongoing) and I was informed by my bank that the person that stole my credit cards tried to use them (TWICE) to buy tokens at the metro. I will NEVER stay at a Hampton Inn again.

Our room was comfortable but we had to take double beds to get nonsmoking room. VERY large dining area for nice complimentary breakfast. Large lobby area and parking. Located right off of I 95. While it isn't far from Old Town Alexandria, we were expecting it to be closer in from the name used by the hotel [...]Desk attendant at check in rudely told me I could not use my Honors program since I booked with a third party. Strange and unfriendly reaction, I thought.

Was a good experience, enjoyed being able to use shuttle to Old town and to metro..Came very quickly and personnel was very friendly. I would stay again.

Stayed there because of the good deal. Staff and rooms where great and hotel very clean. Good breakfest to start your day. They offer a free shuttle to the Metro so I could get to D.C. to play tourist. Also free shuttle to Old Alexandria for dinner at night. Both Metro and Old Alexandria to far to walk unles you like walking. But after spending all day in D.C. you are very tired. Just wish hotel was a little closer to D.C. on Metro it is about a 25 minute ride. No big deal. Hotel was very nice.

Hotel was located next door to interstate-surprisingly I never heard traffic. Staff was wonderful, shuttle service for their customers was AWESOME!

My husband and I were there for his birthday (romantic getaway) it was so nice and clean great and friendly staff the hotel is beautful, lots of parking, great places to visit near all the attractions and the restaurants very close by are nice you can carry out or have the food delivered, nice people and each morning they have complimentary breakfast the works Belgian waffels, fruits, turkey sausage, pasteries, cereal they had something for everyone. we were only there for one day we will be going back next month for a weekend this is a great spot to visit.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and good breafast.
