The location was very convenient with a Whole Foods and CVS within walking distance. Our room did not have a view but we really were not in our room that much to need a view.

This was a nice hotel. It was very clean. The breakfast was better than most. They offered hot items like scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. They had a waffle bar as well. They had other items that you would find on a typical continental breakfast bar. The eating area was larger than most, so we never had a problem finding a spot to sit at the height of rush hour breakfast. Grounds were clean and spotless and the room was always cleaned to a tee when we returned. My only complaint would be the bed was a little too soft and it made for a miserable night of sleeping.
I recommend this hotel for anybody. It is clean, comfortable and close to Whole Foods, Metro train and King St. Will stay there again.
We stayed for three days at this clean and comfortable hotel. Very easy access to D.C. on the convenient metro. But the super friendly, super helpful staff is what made this a great place to stay!

A perfect weekend getaway hotel. The helpful and friendly staff were great they could not have been more accommodating! Very nice breakfast included with the room. A black away from Whole Foods market and lots of good restaurants. Easy walk to the Metro to go into DC. Will definitely stay here again!
Staff was among the friendliest we have dealt with. Everyone greeted us with a smile even if they were just passing by in the hall. Excellent breakfast choices. We liked how the dining room was set up for small groups as well as large groups to eat together at the same table. Our room was a one bedroom suite which was very nice. Very slight wear and tear on the couch and the sink cabinet, but otherwise wonderful.
the hotel was everything it advertised. The room was roomy and comfy, full kitchen, etc. we asked for cleaning to be done prior to the kiddo's nap and they complied with that. Breakfast was a great treat, saving many $. There was a good variety of food, including hot dishes each day. Coffee was great, too!

Went to Alexandria for a party. The location was perfect. The hotel was excellent. The room was especially comfortable. So clean and well stocked. Loved it would stay anytime!!!
We enjoyed our stay earlier this year at the Residence Inn By Marriott so much that we decided to stay again. Not only was the room spotless like no one had ever stayed in it before, and the staff friendly and helpful, but having a wonderful breakfast included and knowing we were only a several easy block walk from the Metro and restaurants made it a "no brainer" to choose it again. Thanks for allowing us to have such a pleasant stay as we look forward to staying with you in the future!
