Quiet, fairly secluded cottage, located right off a private airstrip. You don't hear any noise from the planes, but sometimes you can catch them flying in or out. It's fun to watch. The place is nice. Small yet capable kitchen. Recommended you bring your own cutlery if you prefer your own sharper knives. There's a washer and dryer there, which worked great for us. The bedrooms were all on the smaller side, but having three of them was perfect. All three also have decent closet space to tuck bags away for additional space. One bedroom on the first floor, two bedrooms up. With a bathroom in each floor. All three bedrooms have queen beds and soft sheets. The bathroom on the bottom floor is bigger (tub/shower) than the one on the top floor (smaller stand-up shower). There's Wi-Fi throughout. One TV with Roku in the living room. Cold AC. Deer visit every morning during coffee on the back porch. Back patio is great for hanging out, eating, visiting. Classic string lights keep it lit very nicely after the sun goes down. Bring a citronella candle or some bug spray though. The bugs can get bad. Close to Hamilton pools, Krause springs, and Barton springs. We visited two of the three while staying here. We ate at the lighthouse as well. Food was delicious. Nice place for a family to stay, with activities and good food near by. Definitely recommend.
