An original 1917 home that has been fully renovated and transformed into a re-designed/re-envisioned space with modern amenities. Original home was my childhood residence and in 2016 it was completely stripped to bare bones and every nook and cranny has been updated to the most current Title 24 California Building Code Standards for safety as well as building energy efficiency providing all who stay comfort and the protection a home should always provide.
The Renovation and Addition/Alteration was a city approved project with a full city approved plan set that is registered with the city and every detail was adhered to for the redevelopment of the original home.
All mechanical and electrical systems are new. All plumbing for drainage/sewer and water supply is new from the street service connection to the house and throughout the entire house, all electrical service and electrical systems are properly grounded and entirely new in the whole house and Arc Fault/Ground Fault Protected, heat pump inverter for AC/heat is new, there is fire sprinkler suppression system for entire house, the structure has been inspected inch by inch retrofited for seismic protection from the foundation all the way up to the roof system all according to current California Building Code Standards, finishes in home are new and adhere to Current California Green Building Standards, all new furnishings.

We all met up for a long weekend in San Diego, and this property housed us all perfectly, was a great gathering space and was literally between 10-15 minutes to anything we went to! Ruben had it all set up for us, even with fresh muffins in the kitchen! Highly recommend!!

Very comfortable house and close to lots of attractions.
Our family of 4 plus our small Corgi had a wonderful stay at this squeaky clean house. The bedrooms are very large and the house is quite spacious! Beds were comfy and the whole house was remodeled. Neighbors were very friendly and it was quiet at night. The host is wonderful, communicates well and even brought us refills of coffee pods. The house is close to many attractions, especially Balboa Park, where we spent a lot of time. Being so close to downtown, one saw a bit of the social issues, but we felt still very safe. Lots of kitties in the neighborhood.

My family and I were very pleased with our stay! There was plenty of space for our group of 5, it was an excellent location and very convenient to everything we wanted to do in the surrounding area, and we felt very safe during our time there. Would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed our stay and were very satisfied from check-in to check-out. The property owner was very welcoming by leaving us eateries and coffee before we arrived and extended our stay byba couples hours during the holidays. The location was very convenient because all the site locations we visted were only a few minutes by car. The property was very clean and had all the utilities needed for us to enjoy our stay. I most definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting downtown San Diego.

A well designed space and good parking.
We loved our short stay at this property. The home felt brand new with nice appliances, all the utensils and cookware you could need. We loved the fire pit outside and made use the board games provided. Highly recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay with enough space!
