The place was quite clean and comfortable. But we didn’t have the unwanted guest of a mouse! When we told the cleaning lady she said she wasn’t surprised. So that wasn’t very comforting. And if you are going to stay there be aware of the stairs. They are very steep. It was ok for one night but wouldn’t want to be there multiple!!

We had the most amazing stay at the Steveston. The hotel is older but very cozy with lots of cool history! All the staff were very friendly and pleasant! The area is so cute and felt very safe! We kept our vehicle in their parking lot and it was safe and sound our whole trip! There is a save-on-foods across the street. So convenient! So many restaurants and stores to shop in the area! We took transit and it was so easy to navigate from the Steveston! We will definitely be back again!

It is hard to find an independently owned hotel anymore. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and you can't beat the location and the price.

We arrived at the hotel late at night and the parking was at the far end of the building entrance. What we didn't realize was that it was pay parking. So we paid the overnight rate and the ticket showed that it's good until 6am. This was frustrating since we wanted to sleep in and not wake up at 5:50 to pay again. Another problem was that there was no hot water in our room, so we couldn't even have a shower. I wrote to the motel after our stay and they were very responsive and apologetic. Thankfully they refunded our parking fees and discounted our room rate. The beds were comfortable.

The hotel is located in a fishing village about 15 minutes from Vancouver. So you have access to the city and walking trails next to the ocean. As a bonus, there was a local band that played in the pub next door. Lots of fun as a vacation location.

The hotel itself was nice. Big, clean rooms, recently renovated, coffee and tea provided. However, the the loud music and other noise coming from the night club downstairs which reaches it's peak between 10:30pm and 2:00am was unexpected and made it impossible to sleep (despite the earplugs provided). It ruined what would have otherwise been a very pleasant stay.
