We stayed in the Safari room for two nights. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly by the owner and shown to our room. We were given a very thorough tutorial of where everything was located in the room and all the amenities that were provided. They asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast and offered to drive us to any location in the local Richmond area. They also provide transportation to and from the airport. That is such a valuable service. The room was very clean, very quiet, easy to stay warm and had all the comforts. There were chocolates on our pillow every evening. We had a coffee maker, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, hot cider (bedside brandy for your drink!) and snacks. We had a wonderful fireplace that kept us plenty warm. The shower is huge and the hot water is plentiful. They provide plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. The flat panel tv had plenty of channels to choose from. We had a nice sitting area in front of the fireplace to watch tv. Breakfast was very big, many courses and very tasty. We were served coffee and our choice of juices. We had informative conversations with the owner regarding the area, the city of Vancouver, current events, etc. Very pleasant and easy to talk to. It was like staying with our favorite Aunt and Uncle! We hope to stay at Stone Hedge B&B again.
