Hotel super cute on our side. No ac in the hallways or main office. Refrigerator needed to be worked on to work for minimal coolness. Bathroom tub surround was calked all over the walls by a child! Moldy sink and floor grout. No lights on elevator to see floors or if it was going up or down. Floors filthy with stains. Staff barely spoke English to assist with surrounding areas. Beds were clean and comfortable but sheets were too short for the bed. Notice of no house keeping unless you asked for it was left in the room. TV did not get good reception for any channels. Internet was poorly connected.

This place is very outdated. My problem was dog hairs on the carpet, which my son is allergic to. I asked them to clean it but when we come back they were still there, they were very easy to be picked so I just don't think they vacuumed them. Staff was friendly for the most part and they let us store our luggage which was nice. Break fast was extremely poor: frozen breakfast sandwiches, apples, banana, yogurt, cheap muffins and a few cereal choices. Nothing warm and tasty. The only thing a really liked their bad, it was very convenient. There was no sheet for sleeper sofa, so when we arrived late we just had to all sleep together. Shower is another story, super outdated, it felt like a cheap hotel.

The place is really good and worth. But I personally think the front desk staff need to be taught how to conversate with customers. At first, the night staff rudely mentioned to me that this is not a 5 star hotel. This is 3 star so the housekeeping wont answer your call at night. Later in the afternoon, the front desk guy when asked that I will check out at 12 PM was rude in their reply! And turns out it was the supervisor I conversated with at the front desk!

This place is so old and disgusting. Like an old stinky Vegas casino that needs to be torn down. Absolutely disgusting. Filthy and stinky. Grime and mold everywhere. The hallways smelled like old cheese. The rooms were damp andildew-ridden. The sink wouldn't stay on, kept turning itself off. We were woken up early in the morning by some truck making the loudest noise ever as it pumped garbage out of the storm drains. Just as well, I was happy to get the heck out of there asap.

The property is central and easy access. Staff seemed friendly however were not overly concerned that they checked me into a room where the bathroom had not been adequately cleaned. Hair from the previous guest still in the shower, a dirty facecloth hanging from the curtain and pee on the side of the toilet.

Misleading Photos and Tired Facilities Our stay at the Abercorn Inn Vancouver Airport was disappointing and did not match the photos or rating advertised. The room smelled damp, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the only relief was a window that could be opened. Cleanliness was poor. Hairs left in the bathroom from a previous guest, and dust on the carpet that you could feel underfoot. The decor looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 1990s, and the room felt neglected. Service was unfriendly at both check-in and check-out, and the breakfast was overly sugary with limited healthy options. The pictures online are not a true representation of the actual condition of the hotel. It’s quiet, which was a plus, but overall, this felt more like a 1 or 2 star experience than the 3.5 stars advertised. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless major upgrades are made to both the facilities and service.
