We didn’t want to pay $400 so we stayed here

Location is the primary reason for our stay here: easy access to freeway and Grand Sierra (we came for Morissey concert). Plenty of free parking. Very outdated decor and fixtures, ceiling in the lobby is visibly peeling. Thankfully room is clean enough but musty. The young woman upon check in is lovely (Saturday 4/26 around 4p) but the young man upon check out (Sunday 11a) is curt even though he wasn’t busy. The best thing about this place is Lemon & Lime serving Indian cuisine: good service and perfectly cooked andhra palak daal and paneer tikka masala.

Awful Wi-Fi and not friendly customer service

I had a disappointing experience with customer service during my stay. When I checked in, the carbon monoxide detector started beeping due to a low battery. I called the front desk about four times, but each time my call was transferred to a regional or national office, where they asked me to contact the local number, something I was already doing! They insisted the front desk would handle the issue, but I got no help. I also asked for a rollaway bed, and the response I received was a firm "no" in a rather stern and confrontational tone. I'm not one to complain over small things, but it was frustrating. As for the carbon monoxide detector, the only solution they offered was to remove it from the wall because they didn’t have any battery replacements. What was most frustrating, though, was the extremely slow Wi-Fi. I couldn't access most of the web tools I needed, and since my main goal was to work online while attending my daughter's activities at the nearby convention center, this was a big issue. The Wi-Fi was slow throughout the day, night, and morning, to the point that I had to leave the hotel and use the Wi-Fi in the conference center lobby instead. Overall, it was far from an ideal experience, and I’m disappointed with how things were handled.

Very unclean, nasty dirty, complained to staff, no response from them like this is the normal. Elevator was not working. I feel that we should be refunded some money back, was not worth amount paid. Very unsatisfied customer. I had reserved two rooms. Will not be staying there again.

The staff was very friendly. Checking in was seamless. The rooms are dated. Our heater didn’t work -- dead batteries maybe. The beds are extremely soft. Room was dated with chipped paint in the bathroom. Overall a nice stay.

The lobby was ok, but that’s all. The exercise room was terrible—small, dirty, and next to a weird laundry room. The guest rooms look like they haven’t been redecorated in at least 30 years. Bed was hard as a rock. Pillows sucked. AC didn’t work well. Elevator was broken. Door keys took several attempts to work. Pretty junky place.

Affordable stay close to the airport. Clean but older property. Noisy as it’s between a highway and the airport. However, the convenience of being across the street from the airport makes it worth it for early flights
