This was the third time we have stayed at the Silver Legacy. The hotel itself is very welcoming. It is a beautiful place and feels exciting ! The rooms are spacious and nice. Every employee from housekeeping to waiters at the restaurants were friendly. While in Reno we did look at all the other resorts to stay, shop and eat, we saw that the Silver Legacy was the very best for us.

We had a hard time finding the place, but after we got to the garage, it was easy to find the desk, easy check in at a kiosk if we wanted, and the rooms were all updated and clean. We loved all the dining options that were in the hotel and the adjacent properties that were connected by skybridges. All in all, it was a great stay.

The hotel is old, even with renovation, it still feels old and outdated. They charge $40 resort fees, which is misleading when they advertise the pride, but there is not much amenity. It is really NOT a resort. It feels like a 3-star motel. Don’t let the name fool you. Book other casinos or hotels.

The staff working the counter was cold and lacked customer service and just not what I would expect from a hotel in the Caesar family after so many good experiences in Vegas, Reno did not compare!

Smelled like smoke everywhere. Older resort. Right in the middle of downtown with not a whole lot around it. Had good restaurants and coffee shops and was pretty clean. Beds were comfortable. The pool was nice but a little small for such a large property and closed at 8 PM which seemed early.

I liked that it was part of the Row. The bed was comfortable and the staff was kind and accomodating. When we got to our room, we discovered a very large wet spot on the floor. We called and reported it and they offered to switch our room. We had already gotten settled ao opted to not do that, but they were kind and offered to switch the room for us.

Staff was great, bummed that some bars weren’t open because we were there Tuesday-Thursday. Accommodations were great, slots were pretty tight.

North Reno still worth it

Helpful staff, comfortable room that had been updated. Overall, a well-maintained facility. The parkade and parking elevators could be tidier. What we didn't realize coming in was how Silver Legacy, El Dorado, and Circus Circus were all connected to each other. You need never step outside to visit all three, including their restaurants and casinos. We did step out, though, and found parts of the neighborhood a little sketchy although that didn't deter us from walking a few blocks to some nearby restaurants for dinner. Was offered a deal to stay a third night which made this not made value for the money. Would stay again.
