The staff and walkable distance to amenities was fantastic
The room was ridiculously small. We had to crawl on the bed to pass by one another around the desk and chair. For the price you charge it’s unacceptable to not be able to move around the room comfortably.
We got a good rate to stay here compared to other nearby hotels, but it's important to factor in the price of parking, at $32 a day. The room was clean and in fine shape - carpet and some of the furniture a little dated/worn but fine. The water wasn't very hot. We used the pool, kids loved it. Would have been helpful to be told how that worked to avoid going up and down the elevator to get the special pass (you need to reserve a time, then go to front desk to get a door pass). We almost didn't eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant because it was $20 per person, but it turns out kids eat free! The staff at the restaurant were wonderful and my kids were in heaven with all the options. The hotel is really well located if you want to be near Byward and Parliament. Easy access to the highway as well.
