great location for visiting Lake Eola, an extremely cool Park with a side walk that goes around the entire lake with beautiful swans and an assortment of birds and people. Can easily get to a big variety of restuarants and bars within walking distance. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly

The room was very detailed decorated, lots of pillows and very comfortable, but there was an uncomfortable odor to humidity coming probably from the rugs. We had to open the windows and turn on the fan to reduce this feeling. Great location to downtown ammenities.

The hotel is fine if you're there for business in the media area. The staff was wonderful, and the elevator was a godsend. We enjoyed both the second-floor outdoor lounge and the indoor lounge. A couple of minor things: the lamps could be turned to the side for reading in bed. Unfortunately, my sister saw cockroaches running around in the shower stall, which was unpleasant.
