The hotel is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully preserving its historic character while offering modern comforts. Unfortunately, there was a significant issue with the hot water: we had ice-cold showers on two days and only barely lukewarm water on the third. While the staff were apologetic, there did not seem to be a strong sense of urgency or concern about resolving the problem, which detracted from what would otherwise have been a very pleasant stay.

Surprised the tv didn’t have have any way to airplay anything. They gave me a HDMI cable but the port kept cutting too and it just wasn’t good. For an expensive stay like that, you’d expect something like AppleTV or some way to get that entertainment section working.

Great Stay

Lovely hotel within walking distance to Hyde Park and other areas. Rooms are a little small but very well kept and soundproof. Staff is very friendly and helpful.I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location near Paddington station

Great London visit. Enjoyed BBC Proms. Nice day trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and bath. Hotel was great and great location close to Paddington station.
