It would have been a great experience had the pool and jacuzzi been open. They advertised heated pool and jacuzzi which is why we chose them. We repeatedly tried to get info on when would be open...to be told jacuzzi was open....ice cold!!! I should have left and found a more reputable place..not sure if I would go back..they couldn't be honest.

The Mohican is pet-friendly old fashioned styled "motel" that accommodated us and my 7lb dog. The young lady at the front desk at check-in was very nice and accommodating. We arrived a little earlier than the 3 o'clock check-in and she was able to get us settled in a half hour early. The pools, indoor and outdoor, and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. Clean bedding and towels. We loved having a "key" not a card to enter our room. Inside was a large, full sized room with two double beds, full sized bathroom with atub and shower, nice sized TV, a little table with chairs, small refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave. Perfect for our short stay in the area. In the back area, they had a basketball court, cornhole, volleyball nets, fire pit with Adirondack chairs. A small game room and a small workout area... very basic but for what our needs were, it was perfect. Afffordable, clean, accommodating...five minute drive to the Steamboat Company. Many restaurants with 5 minutes. I definitely would go back the next time I'm in the area.

Pages and pages of rules with $250 fine for any violation. Pool closes at 5pm on weekdays. Felt like the guests were a burden and definitely not welcome. Shower pressure was so poor it dribbled out.

The motel is a bit dated. The tile in the bathroom was cracked and shower pressure lack luster but… Our room was very clean and quiet. The outside pool was wonderful, again a little dated but it served the purpose and was clean. There is a playground which was great for our daughter.

Place was so convenient. The manager stopped by our room with 3 cold waters shortly after arrival which was really appreciated. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools and while we stayed in a pet friendly 2 queen room, there was no evidence of odor of other dogs. Room was a nice size. Overall I think great value.

We were the only family there. Owner was amazing! Rooms were huge and clean! Indoor pool and jacuzzi were the nicest and cleanest we have seen in years! We are a traveling hockey and soccer family, this was a gem! Plus we had fun playing pool, music, air hockey and Pac-Man!

From check in to check out our stay was great my son loved the play ground (there is no longer a train though) and the indoor pool was perfect. The woman who checked me it was super sweet and the man who checked me out was also great! We will he staying here again.

Wonderful stay

Staff at Mohegan was very friendly and welcoming. Our experience there was very good, but they have been slowly remodeling and are just getting up and running again as of Memorial Day, so little things that needed to be addressed were addressed by staff in a timely manor. The grounds are small, but very very clean, with 2 areas for those who smoke. There is a community firepit and grill available, with a playground and basketball. The indoor pool is very clean and recently underwent some rennovation, so is welcoming. There is a small hot tub which was also very clean and maintained. The location for us was perfect. We didnt want to be right downtown, so this was smack in between the malls and antique market ( st ann/ queensbury) and downtown. We lodged in the 2 bedroom condo with a full kitchen and it was very comfortable for 4 adults. ( there is also a large pullout couch in the livingroom if needed). Kitchen includes utensils, coffee pot, stove, toaster, fridge. Bathroom has hairdryer. If you plan on cooking and dont want to grill, i recommend bringing your own fry pan and a pot , as i didnt see either in the kitchen yet. Coffee pot is standard coffee pot, so bring filters and coffee when you go. There is also an outdoor pool in front of the office and a small game and exercise room off the pool area. Pets welcome for a fee. There's a 20$ service fee for each credit card charge so be advised to use card to charge mult. Rooms.( most venus now charge fee)

Rooms were very clean. Indoor pool was nice and warm. Staff was very hospitible and friendly. We would definitely stay here again abd plan to come back soon during warmer weather. The outlets are right down the street and Six Flags a couple miles down the road.
