Cozy Getaway

The Suite was perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, great interior design providing everything needed, including a hot tub! lLocation a short walk away from the beach and close to restaurants. Hosts were wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a couples getaway!

My Wife Loved It

All in all, everything was good. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable for me due to the bed topper. After we removed it, my wife slept like a baby. And both of us being above the age of 60, we may not be as tech savvy as some, and had a little trouble getting the lights and coffeemaker to work as they could. As I said my wife loved it, and that is what most matters.

Mission accomplished!

We stayed for my wife’s birthday weekend- very much on point with what she wanted to do. Relaxation and resting. Very quiet location with privacy. Good food all around and beach is close as well. We have this on our radar for future getaways!

This place is the perfect environment to reignite that flame that you and your spouse once had. Perfect setting to just enjoyed one another. The hosts of the property are absolutely phenomenal. They actually care and try to make the most of your stay!!!!! can’t wait to be back

Fall Weekend Getaway

we really enjoyed staying at this cut little VRBO the hosts thought of all the right things to make or stay warm and inviting .. right down to the small bottle of white wine and the chocolates we recommend this place to anyone looking for nice little break from the everyday thank you

Lovely Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Suite Retreat. Decorated cute, comfy bed and everything you need for a short beach trip. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs, cooler, hot tub and complimentary golf cart. Jonathan & Carolyn were very pleasant and quickly responded to a few questions. We look forward to staying here again. Very close to everything you need in EI.

Relaxing and romantic!

The suite was super cute and had all sorts of ways to maximize relaxation - hot tub, gas fire pit, and porch loungers outside and a cozy couch and comfortable bed inside. There were plenty of thoughtful and complimentary amenities from warm cookies upon arrival to snacks, toiletries and a decent blowdryer. The bikes and golf cart were also very easy to reserve and fun to use. I hadn't rode a bike in years and the neighborhood was nice to bike through...we even saw an egret fly past someone's front yard! The beach was a short golf cart drive away and had tons of beautiful shells. The wind prevented us from kayaking, but that was an available option as well - the host are friendly and responsive and recommended all sorts of fun things to do (sunset watching points, beaches, rainy day activities). They seemingly thought of everything and our vacation was perfect. Can't wait to go back!

Beach Retreat

Amazing Getaway

My husband and I stayed for his birthday. We had the best time! We fished, rode bikes for the first time in years, loved the golf cart, ate delicious food, and couldn't have asked for nicer hosts or accommodations! They were so quick to help with anything we needed. I will definitely refer others. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!

The Best Getaway

This has been the best getaway, every detail in the suite was thought of and detailed with lots of love! They had so much provided within the suite that I didn’t have to worry about bringing anything but myself and clothes. The shared golf cart was such a great add, but the bikes were just as wonderful. It’s such a short ride that I enjoyed biking a lot. I needed a little getaway to refresh and rejuvenate my soul and this place did that for me. I loved it so much that I was so sad that I had to leave. It was such a nice relaxing environment and I hope someday I can make it back!

Best Vrbo we have ever stayed in!!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location was perfect. Tucked into a neighborhood so it was quiet at night but so close to the beach and many restaurants. Having the golf cart made it even easier to get to the beach! And they provided everything we needed for the beach. A shade thing, beach chairs, a cooler and even beach towels! All we needed to pack for the trip was our clothes. The suite was very clean and check in couldn’t have been more seamless. The hosts were so welcoming and left any information we needed. The patio hot tub was a nice bonus and very private. The kitchen is small but we did not intend on eating in or making food at the suite. The mini fridge held our drinks and that was all we needed. We enjoyed using the bikes to explore more too. Honestly I have zero complaints about our stay and hope to return soon!

Easy Vacation

We had a fantastic week long stay. All the necessities were included- the beach chairs and shade, blender, coffee machine, fridge, and use of golf cart and were especially helpful. The bed was maybe the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Everything was labeled, the tv worked and had access to all the on-demand apps we use at home. The location is not on the beach but close enough to walk if needed (but we used the cart due to my bum ankle). The hosts were as nice as could be but gave us space to enjoy and relax. Restaurants, shops, and grocery within 3 min drive- laundry mat about 10 min but fun to see local areas like historic Swansboro. Very clean and accessible. Shower wasn’t super strong but the water stayed hot for both of us and our skin was soft the entire week :) People in NC were some of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered- great stay!

Our Favorite Place

This was a return trip to our favorite vacation rental. We needed to get away to a place we knew we could relax and enjoy. Thank you Jonathon and Carolyn for being the perfect host. Everything was immaculate and everything that you provided made our stay so special. The relaxing days sitting out on the patio was perfect and the welcoming brownies were delicious! We will be back very soon! Always love staying here. You make us feel like family.

We have found "our place to stay" at the beach!

Carolyn and Jonathan have created the BEST place for couples to connect and recharge! From the moment we stepped out of the car, we knew the weekend was going to be special. Everything was exactly as pictured and so much more. Having the golf cart available (at no charge) was wonderful for the times we wanted to enjoy the beach. I just can't say enough about this paradise, see it for youself, you won't be disappointed.

Fated Getaway

I wasnt even looking at NC but the picture of this house popped in my search and grabbed my attention. I am glad that happened because the house was very beautiful and cozy and just right for me and my husband. You can't go wrong with this place if you just want to get away by yourself or a partner. On the plus side, the beach is approximately 7 minutes away and there are many places to go nearby for meals. The owners, although I met them very briefly, were very nice. They made sure to send me a welcome text message, which I appreciated. Again, you will not be disappointed if you come and stay at this place. Hubby and I will definitely be back, which is saying a lot because I don't like long distance driving (we traveled 6 hours)!

Relaxand enjoy

Everything we needed, was there, snanks, coffee and Alexa. Which really added to the already romantic setting. We shopped, fished and walk the beaches. We returned to enjoy a warm shower wine and hot tub just for us. Access to a golf cart, beach chairs, bikes. I highly recommend this little get away to anyone. Handsdown the best place we have ever stayed at.

“ Love is what happens when two hearts find a place that reminds them how tiny their problems are”

From the moment we parked in front on our Suite Retreat, I smiled with joy. On the door, was a special made big red heart with our names on it. Upon opening the door, I first heard the sound of sea waves and a crackling fireplace. Dim lighting only reinforced my shoulders relaxing, as our eyes took in every precious detail Carolyn, ( the best host imaginable) arranged for our arrival. Candlelight everywhere, homemade chocolate chip cookies, rose petals and a bottle of wine arranged about the bedroom. Complimentary waffle robes and bedroom slippers hung by the bed with a rosé tastefully placed. The subtle twinkle lights along the headboard glowed like tiny stars. As, I looked over at my husband, I found his eyes sparkling just as much as mine as we took it all in. As a couple that is middle aged we both dropped our luggage, laughed and settled right into a peaceful rest. This was our first vacation alone in over 10 years and Johnathan and Carolyn provided us with a perfect getaway. Carolyn is both professional and so personable. The moment you meet her you can’t help but smile, hospitality just seems to flow from her. She answered so many questions I had. The suite was so clean and cozy. Even the patio was so inviting that we sat bundled up in blankets watching the patio lights swing in the breeze. We needed help with Netflix Johnathan was there in a flash helpful and smiling. The area provides amazing food, art and activities. Don’t wait book now!

FABULOUS getaway- peaceful

We LOVED staying here. The hosts are amazing! We took advantage of the "extra" celebration package and were greeted with a banner in our parking spot and by the host. It was delightful. We entered the property to find relaxing calm music playing in a well lit and VERY CLEAN environment as well as romantic pedals, a cheese, crackers and wine tray, luxurious bathrobes and slippers and just an overall comfy cozy retreat. The next morning our gracious hosts blessed us woth lemon delights that were just that, delightful! The hot tub was incredibly relaxing too! The unit is equipped with voice commanded light and music, or you can use the remote for the lights. It was all so easy and made relaxing even more doable. The hosts provide everything you're ever going to needs, coffee, twa, snacks, drinks, toiletries, accessories and RELAXATION. They even extended a late checkout for us so we could enjoy our last day there and take our time. You'll not want to miss out on this property or any others these hosts have. They think of EVERYTHING to make your stay worth it in every way! I just cannot say enough positive about it. The unit was so cozy and comfy and just right for a weekend getaway for two. Definitely giving this place 5 time 5 billion stars! Stay here, you'll be so glad you did! It's peacefully secluded, yet aptly located to everything a beach getaway could want!
