Unfortunately they entered my car tags wrong for parking, and I ended up having to pay for parking at the gate … it was only $4 more expensive but frustrating that the hotel took attitude of “oh well, the mistake was ours but there’s nothing we can do to help you”

Great location for any visitors to the University of Maryland. The Hotel is well maintained and comfortable, however it had the worst Wi-Fi of any hotel I've been in the last few years. My iPad just did not like it; my security did not like it. The parking is very quirky and annoying. I paid for overnight parking at the front desk but the automated system in the garage didn't know that and the only way to get out was to call the vendor and complain. I'm still getting hounded by the garage system for "not paying". The hotel does get a lot of U of M visitors, including lots of sports teams and conference/seminar attendees so it can get loud and crowded. No breakfast restaurant is a bit inconvenient but forces you to go to a better place anyway!

Wonderful property! We stayed here while visiting DC and the surrounding areas. It was close to everything (minus traffic lol) and was a great stay. The staff was so nice and helpful, the beds and pillows were actually comfortable (and I’m picky), and everything was in good condition and kept clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Just a PS: you do have to pay extra for parking. We didn’t mind, because we were aware that this was the case EVERYWHERE in this area, but just be aware it isn’t included in the booking price.

Everything was great except that you couldn't use any apps on the TVs. You have to watch whatever is available, and that is no good when you are traveling for work. It's the only thing that makes it feel like home.
