The only downer was the pool wasn’t in service on a perfectly 85 degree day, but maintenance was actively working on it the entire time. Breakfast in the morning was good also. This poor hotel could be great, but instead it is lackluster. We returned for the second time, against our better judgment and we were even more disappointed than the first stay. Our key cards are deactivated EVERY day, that means that you have to have them reprogrammed before you can return to your room. So on the 2nd night when our daughter was sick, and there was NO ONE AT THE FRONT DESK for 30 minutes (I have time stamped photos), her and her father had to sit and wait 2 floors up while I stood at the desk waiting. The reason I was given?- The front desk person was handling the pool? Additionally, we lost a great deal of food from chinatown due to the fridge not functioning in our first room. We checked in, put our food away, left and returned to hot food in the fridge. a $130 dollar loss. When I called the front desk, she said we could move rooms, there was no other way to fix the issue (no apology for the loss of food) but we had to come down to change out keys and return the other stuff. That was room 226. The second rooms (218) refrigerator did not work much more. The shower curtain was ripped, there was dirt smudges on the walls, everything was greasy, there were cobwebs in the corners, and stains on every cushion. I laid towels on the chairs to sit down. This hotel really soured our whole vacation.

From the moment we walked in the door to check in until we checked out 4 days later, every person we came across was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great. The eggs were perfect! Nice variety of selections to choose from. Convenient to Metra in Belmont and Downers Grove via car. Parking garage in Downers Grove was only $3 for the day.

The staff was accommodating and welcoming as soon as we came in. If we needed anything, just a call to the front desk or any employees walking by would be of service. And Ms Patricia and the the white slim young lady, and the young black slim guy I would definitely give them 10's. Don't get me wrong everyone was super accommodating, but these 3 were my best. Just an average budget hotel - value for money

Average budget hotel - nothing stands out but with decently stocked with appliances ( Microwave , Coffee maker , Fridge , Electric Iron ) etc. No safe in room . Bed very comfortable. Carpet was wet and musty and room was smelling bad . AC was very noisy. Hotel is at a very awkward access - go through in circles through exit ramps to reach . Not walking friendly Close to Oakbrook shopping and dining & easy to get to airport Check in check out was easy and quick They never bothered to clean the room / make the bed during the day I stayed (?) Bathroom supplies very basic Overall an OK visit - nothing great to say
