The hotel called the day before to see what time we’d be arriving. We came at the time I told them, and we waited in the lobby for 40 minutes before someone came and checked us in. In the meantime, there were three not very cordial or helpful employees that saw us waiting. Pretty disappointed in that! Room is a nice size and does have an ocean view. The bed is very high and hard to get in and out of.

It is an excellent restoration of a very old building. It was hard to carry suitcases up the steep stairs and the hours the desk was open is very constricted. The room was excellent and cleanliness was super.With the restaurant on main floor it was very quiet in our room as we had to go to sleep early due to early AM departure.

Nice ocean view. Quiet room. There is no airport shuttle, even though Hotels.com says there is. Staff did schedule a taxi for us, which arrived on time with a good driver.

There was a problem with check in caused by Expedia, but it was quickly resolved by manager. Very charming hotel, I hope it never renovates to go modern. The restaurant is good, and the surrounding area is lovely.
