I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I am. The check in was quick and easy, and the guy at the front desk was funny. The floors in the lobby, elevator and breakfast area were quite sticky. When we went to our room to check it out we noticed that the safety latch on the door was broken. And weirdly, the tub plug was pushed in and it was half full of water from a drip. Good thing we were there to remedy that before it filled and flooded. The temperature in the room was set at 64 degrees. Brrrr. We left to get something to eat and send a message about the door. I got a message back that someone would contact me shortly, no one ever did. We proceeded to barricade the door with a chair so that we could sleep with no worries. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable, but I did manage to get some sleep. Breakfast was fine. Typical breakfast food. Went back to our room to shower and get on the road, the body wash was empty. Now e good thing to mention is that the toilet paper was soft. Would not stay here again.

Staff was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast staff was awesome- very friendly and kept breakfast items stocked. The only critique I would give is that the property is older and could use some remodeling/upgrades. Overall room mostly clean. There were a couple of hairs in the bathroom sink and the soap dish had not been cleaned. A couple of small stains on the comforter. Otherwise clean.

Let me start with something positive, the staff was always friendly and help when my family and I interacted with them. Now the downsides, we had originally booked a 2 queen beds room, they upgraded us to a suite. This sounded great unfortunately for us, our room was very close to a bank of rooms in which a travelling teenage baseball team was booked. So between the kids running up and down the hallways, having conversations outside our door, and the coaches deciding to have a team meeting on the floor at 1030PM, it was not the best experience as they were there 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed. The room itself was ok, but a bit dirty and could have used a overall refresh for the walls and bathroom, the beds were "meh" at best and additionally it was lacking a phone. So a few lessons learned; check before booking about travelling groups, and or just go ahead and spend the extra money on a better class of hotel?

The room we stayed in was double booked somehow so we walked into our room having the tv playing & bed messed up. Luckily the person wasn’t actually in the room at the time we checked in. Didn’t make me feel very safe especially since the latch lock on the door didn’t work properly.

Hotel is severely outdated and dirty lots of rotting doors and things that need to be fixed. There is no hot tub and apparently the pool area is a party area for adults at night and throughout the whole time of the day there were lots and lots of children Without any parent supervision in the pool area as well as hallways and bathrooms acting crazy. Toilet was not cleaned when we got to the room and the room we were given initially was not the room we booked.

Great service

Room was clean and comfortable. We asked for adjoining rooms when we made the reservation to fit the six of us. Without us asking the gentleman at the desk upgraded one of our rooms to a suite in order to accommodate the request which was perfect. In my experience most hotels simply ignore these booking requests. We’ve stayed here four or five times as it is a perfect halfway stopping point on our road trips from NY to SC/GA and it always works out well. My only complaint with this trip was the included hot breakfast options, which I’ve eaten on prior trips, were the driest and most overcooked I’ve ever seen at any hotel. We ended up stopping for donuts instead.

Poor experience

The room was fine and the bed was comfortable, however the front desk staff was rude and the breakfast was terrible. We got down to breakfast an hour before it was over and most of the food was gone, the trash cans were overflowing and everything was dirty. We tried addressing the concerns with management and the assistant manager just hung up on us. They offered us a $30 credit which we never received.

Supremely disappointing compared to past stay…

We stayed at this hotel in August 2024 when dropping our oldest off for college and it was so wonderful we did not hesitate to rebook when we returned for a visit in April 2025. Much to our dismay, the breakfast was extremely sun-par compared to the wonderful breakfast from August, and the air conditioner in our room was broken. There was also a wedding at the conference center directly outside our window, which was quite noisy and allowed us very little privacy most of Saturday evening/night. Overall extremely disappointed with our stay, and we will be booking a room elsewhere when we return for future visits.

We had bugs in our room! Breakfast was available until 10:30. We went at 9:00. There was one slice of bread and one bagel. No eggs left, no orange juice, no pancake mix. Sausages were sitting in one inch of grease and looked not cooked. We ended up having a cup of coffee and left. Returned to our room, put on the lights and discovered bugs on top of the furniture. Would not recommend this place.
