Beautiful property. Tons of things to do, just all spread out! Room was pretty spacious quiet, and clean, other than shower curtain! It wasn't hanging on all the hooks, had stains, and the rod was very droopy!! Would def stay again!

My unit looked like it hadn’t been dusted in several weeks. Was very dusty.

Visited this resort in January for my first ski trip. It was very comfortable and there was plenty to do on the resort. The shuttles were very convenient as well. I would probably visit this resort in the summer as well to check out their outdoor activities. The only thing that bothered me was the attendant for escape room. She provided too many hints/clues when the group didn't request it. The group was mixed with my friends and a family so I didn't want disrupt the friendly balance by saying anything at the time. However, it was my first time doing escape room so I wish I got the challenge I was looking for. Overall, great experience! I would recommend it.

Great property to go for a bike ride or a run while traveling through West Virginia on a road trip. We didn’t get to utilize the amenities, but they looked nice. Grounds are beautiful

Great place to stay regardless of the season. This is a return stay, would come back.

Great time good food golf pool etc. Room great .going back .better then Greenbrier.

Suite was great and comfortable, staff was friendly.

Great value. Amazing resort. I highly recommend it for business oe personal trips. Staff are nice, rooms are clean, and breakfast was excellent.

After stopping here in September, I wanted my sister to experience the wonderful stay I had at the resort. I have raved about the helpful staff (Danielle), the shuttle driver (Homer), the reservation staff, and the Bunkers staff. Great experience.

It was like a stationary cruise ship. There were so many activities - we couldn't do them all in our 3 day/2 night trip. Everyone was super nice. We especially enjoyed the archery (thanks Jeremiah!). Scott was also super nice and helpful. We would definitely go back. Yes, you have to pay for some activities, but most are reasonably priced.

We were more than suprised and pleased with our stay. We are already planning a return stay. The staff was wonderful. Our accommodations were A1.

We got a terrific last minute deal and got a whole lot of hotel for not much money!

This was our second trip to Glade Springs but our first time in the hotel. It was very nice and staff were excellent.

Started off as a day trip to the New River Gorge and turned into an overnight stay to visit Adventures on the Gorge the following day. The Resort at Glade Springs was an awesome find for us. They have so much to offer, it's like a little community of its own! The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was more than we expected it to be. Overall, it is a great choice!

We found this gem on the way up from Raleigh, NC My son and I had a blast - hiking, bowling, swimming and an awesome breakfast. The room was impeccable clean and the staff kind and helpful. Great time!

We booked this resort sight unseen and once we saw it we were very pleased by its cleanliness and amenities. We brought our bikes and there are paved roads for road bikes as well as a easy trail for mountain bikes. We made use of the indoor and outdoor pools and there are lap lanes for swimming. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful except for the breakfast staff which seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. People were standing around waiting for fruit, waffle mix, milk, etc. The golf rules seemed a little stuffy -- certain shirt type required. Every activity, however, has its price!

This stay was the result of an impromptu trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway. After sunset I left the BRP and headed to I-77. At around 11:00 PM I checked the app for nearby accommodations and found Glade Springs a short drive off of the freeway. I hadn't heard of this resort, but the reviews were positive so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did. The good: *Comfortable bed (I like a very firm mattress) *Nice TV *Excellent WiFi *Exceptional Breakfast *Good soundproofing *Well light, multiple fixtures and controls *Decent In-Room Coffee *Premium Toiletries *Numerous easily accessible power outlets allowed my family to charge all of our devices The breakfast is worth mentioning again. Not only was the selection generous, it was all fresh and stocked. Usually breakfast buffets have runny eggs, limp bacon, shriveled sausage, etc this buffet had everything properly prepared. The biscuits could use some improvement, but that's the recipe and not the preparation. The bad, in short: Bedding, wear and tear. As to the bedding, the mattress and box springs are not encased. This should be a requirement and there is no excuse not to do so with the minimal expense involved. Until law, I've got to ding accommodations for not doing so. Bedbugs do not discriminate between 5 star resorts and no-tell motels. Cleaning staff can be trained but that is not always reliable. Encasing the bedding gives less habitat and makes them much easier to spot for both staff and guests should they be brought in. Wear and tear is very evident here. It turns out that Glade Springs has the same owner as The Greenbrier. Having stayed at both I could see that the chosen decor is very similar - premium, timeless, not fad based. This does not eliminate the need for upkeep and replacement, the textiles here need it. The wing hallway carpet leading to the room was noticeably stained. The room carpet was stained, worn, and snagged. The upholstered furniture, comforter, drapery showed some wear but were not the eyesore level of the carpet. It is worth mentioning the wood furnishings, counters, fixtures, shower, etc were all in great shape. I would stay here again, and would recommend the hotel, also mentioning the caveats at the same time.

I thought the grounds were very attractive and my executive suite was clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to remember names and made. Me feel welcome. I just went for a two night getaway all by myself and felt very safe and at ease. Good trip!! I would def go again.
