We booked a double queen room. Upon our arrival they did not have the room we booked and tried to give us a king room with no pull out. We had booked the room for our family of four. They did not give us a heads up or call so we had to scramble for a new hotel late at night with young children. The front desk staff also didn’t seem to care very much that we didn’t have a place to sleep

Because my flight arrival time was 11:50 I called the hotel to see if I could check in after their web site said that registration closed at midnight. She said I could and put us on a late check in. She also said that the last the shuttle was at 10 PM. Took a taxi to hotel. Upon arrival we were surprised that both check in and shuttle were available 24-7. The shuttle driver I think his name was Fran Cisco was very courteous and helpful.

If you're taking an early flight out of BWI this is the place to stay. Their parking/shuttle option can pay for the stay if you're going for a week. Also, the shuttle they offer to the airport is reliable. The hotel itself is nice, clean and the staff helpful.

The hot water for tea was tepid. The breakfast was stingy - mostly for sale rather than free. The decaf in the room and at breakfast was terrible. The airport shuttle only ran twice an hour, which meant a lengthy wait at the airport when I was already tired from the day of travel. The room was spacious and comfortable. I won't stay here again.

Location and Shower Head

We recently stayed at the Aloft this past weekend and overall, our experience was good. The property itself was modern and clean, making for a pleasant atmosphere. However, finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge as it wasn’t very clearly marked or easy to locate. One thing we didn’t enjoy was the shower setup. The shower head was not adjustable, which made it difficult to shower comfortably without getting water all over the bathroom. It would be much better if the shower was more user-friendly. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the style and vibe of the hotel. With a few improvements, especially to the bathroom, it could be an even better experience.

Good location if you have an overnight in Baltimore. There are a couple restaurants close by you can walk to. The area was clean and the staff friendly.

The property was a good stay, everything was fine for the most part, no foul odors of any kind, very quiet during the day and at night, the renovations could be a little better. Additionally, we understand nothing is perfect but you could tell that it’s just an old building that was painted over. The staff was great, very nice, helpful and welcoming.
