The Microtel Hotel is being updated and extensively remodeled and will be fine when this is complete. Currently there are issues with ice machines and other facilities out of order. My big problem was a neon light that I could not find the temporary on and off switches rather than the normal light switches. This was an artifact of the remodeling. In another 2 months it will be a more convenient place to stay. The staff and breakfast were both quite fine.

room was very outdated. Furniture in poor condition. Bathtub filthy. Holes in bathroom walls. Room very humid and had a moldy scent. Will not stay there again.

I have stayed there 5 times and find the location and stay fine. They also allow long term parking at a small fee.

We needed a hotel close enough to BWI to utilize the free hotel shuttle. The airport sounds were not an issue. After 2 nights in a row of a screaming baby constant for 3-4 hours past midnight and the 3rd night proving to be the same, I talked to the front desk and he was totally happy to relocate us. I wished I had asked for a switch the first night. After that the stay was quiet. There was some remodeling going on. Although this would probably impair some people's opinion in rating the hotel I was happy to see that the hotel was interested in remodeling. There were a few minor issues in our room because of the remodeling but it is likely to be taken care of as the remodeling project is wrapped up. Breakfast was adequate, good Belgian waffles. I would stay here again.

It was good for the money paid. Too bad its too far from everything. Theres only one metro bus that passes in front the hotel that can take you to the mall. Not to many places to eat nearby only a 7 eleven and a Wendys or order by phone for delivery. The breakfast needs to be variable during the week at least 2 o 3 times, every day was the same food and there were days that there was no breakfast because of some delivery issues with the company who delivers it. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the shuttle service is great, they take you to the Marc Station and pick you up and take you to the airport. Even help you to print your boarding passes.

Room 322. Good hot water and water pressure. Shower faucet has no stops; it just spins until you find a spot that will turn it off or is at the right temperature. Wifi was sometimes good, sometimes too weak to make a connection. Light bulb burnt out over desk Water pipes behind bathtub wall bang together every 90-seconds. The sofa bed is completely worn out. The springs are shot, there is no support for the mattress. The mattress is only thin foam in a shredded cover. The refrigerator did not work, and smelled like mildew as if it had not been run in a long time. The room door latched, but rattled. It was mounted loose in the door frame.

So this is the 2nd time we left with a refund first time it felt dirty remote didn't work and bathtub was dirty rooms seemed old so a few months later we tryed once more again remote didn't work burns on counter from hot pot looks like bugs was crawling on bed I told manger it was a bed bug and showed him a picture and a video he said that wasn't a bed bug witch it was clearly so as soon as I walked down stars he new we was down for a refund he must of had this happen a lot but I won't be staying there anymore

UPON ARRIVING A SUPRISE CHARGE WAS DEMANDED ( SUPOSSEDLY FOR A SECURITY DEPOSIT ? } ... ROOM WAS PRE-PAID FOR WITH A CREDIT CARD ... DON'T UNDERSTAND ...

When I checked in @10:30pm I went to my room and sat on the bed to catch up on missed calls. Went to use the bathroom and there was dirt EVERYWHERE. I called to ask if housekeeping could clean and the staff told me they are all gone and if I could clean it up. Of course I said no and asked to be switched to another room. He said they was booked. I asked for a refund and then he said to come to the front so he could switch me to another room. So he lied. I went up front and placed my shoes on the counter. He got really upset and I said "well I figured you could clean it up? That's how I felt when you basically said to deal with it". He was upset and switched me to a different room which was a lot better. I'd never stay there again tho. Glad it was for one night only. I would have taken pictures but it didn't cross my mind till I gave him the key. Food was good the next morning tho. The shuttle took me to the airport and drove well.

StAff not friendly, wifi not logged in, breakfast is very minimal, rooms are too small, we stayed in a queen bed room

The hotel is a little shabby ( chipped veneers, scratched paint) and there was street noise from guests coming in late, but the room wss clean, the staff friendly, and the price was right. If you have an early flight the next morning, it's an easy transfer to the airport. I wouldn't"t choose it for a long stay, but if you're just passing through, it's a solid choice.

This is a very rudimentary hotel, along the same lines as Motel 6. I was there is June and the cooling was not adequate, so it made for sleepless nights. There was one clerk on duty so wait times to check in or get any help were long.

Hotel was ok if you just need a place to sleep for the night. The breakfast is all carbs......muffins, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, etc, but at least it's something. I was disappointed in the way the outside looked. I don't think the grass had been mowed at all this year. It was very high and looked neglected.

Hotel is outdated and several things broken in the room. Location is good, bed comfy , and decent breakfast

nice hotel
