Over the years, I have stayed at several different hotels in Amsterdam, and Hotel Jakarta is my favorite. The staff are exceptionally kind and caring. The amenities: pool, spa, sauna, exercise room, and 8th floor bar overlooking the water, an ideal location to see the sunset, are fantastic! The food is delicious and priced fairly. The ambience is relaxed and elegant. My bedroom was larger than most other hotels, and included both a bathtub and a shower. Also, I had a terrace which overlooked the calm waterway. I will definitely be returning to this magnificent hotel in the near future!

We visited when it was 85°. The hotel is eco-friendly and does not have air conditioning. It instead has a cooling system through the floor, which could not keep up. Other than that, we had a great experience. We loved the pool and the breakfast. Staff were very accommodating.

Fabulous hotel with an Indonesian thdms...light and green public spaces. We had a balcony room with a bath. Bed was super comfy...great walk in shower. The hotel hs a lovely pool too. Great rooftop bar for the evenings. Amazing breakfast offering included in cost.

The bedding, pillows etc were not comfortable at all. During heat over 30 degrees, poor temperature regulation in the room (no A/C). No communication prior to arrival was given regarding the bridge closure linking the hotel closer to the city centre resulting in much longer travel in order to experience the city

It was an excellent location. Easy to get to touristy areas and far enough away to sleep or have a nice walk. Right off the start from reception to check out, the staff were lovely and more than helpful. They gave directions suggestions as to where to go. It was very clean and had a nice eastern vibe. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was so good. You could have omelettes made or have poached egg on salmon Benedict. So much selection, fresh, hot food and cold choices. The pool and spa were a nice treat and there was a lovely little cafe and a quiet space to sit and read a book or play a game (provided). I would absolutely go back again. Thank you so much to the staff for being so helpful and welcoming for my stay.

The hotel was beautiful, very peaceful and clean. It was nice to walk around and explore the hotel. Usman (night staff) was amazing, gave us a tour around the hotel and recommended the best spots for pictures. He was extremely helpful and went out his way to cater to any needs we had; overall a lovely man and a credit to the hotel as he made the stay better. Staff are very attentive and the manager left us a welcome note with some little treats in the room. The hotel is extremely relaxing and has amazing views, would definitely stay here again.
