I wish I had a better review for this property. There were a few glaring things that would cause me not to stay here again when visiting Amsterdam: **First, it is about a ten minute walk away from the center. Taxis don't make sense because they would have to take a roundabout route. Not a great location. **They overcharge for everything. Breakfast was 24e and they have no options for anything less. I simply wanted a croissant and they wanted to charge me 24e for it. No thanks! **The rooms have POOR climate control. They do not allow thermostats to go below 18c and the room never got below 19.5 c (even though I had it going the whole time). It was unbearably hot sleeping. The windows open only a crack. This alone would keep me from coming back, **I saw two mice on the ground floor of the breakfast area, **They advertised things they were not willing to honor. There handed out a sheet saying if you forgo your daily housekeeping you would get a free drink. When I went ti redeem the offer they said it was only for those guests who stayed four nights or more (it did not say this anywhere). Rather than apologize for the oversight they basically just said I was out of luck. I don't think it's a horrible hotel. It was fine but Amsterdam is an A city and there were many other affordable options. Trust me, this isn't your spot.
Pretty noisy room from the elevator. The shower gel dispenser was broken and for the duration of my 5 days never fixed. I requested a shower cap that I never received.

Perfect location! Clean Room and amazing Bathrooms. Really loved the ambience in the elevators on valentines day. Will definitely stay again! ❤️
