Hotal was ok, some of staff where somewhat friendly but kind of "cold" overall the stay was decent. The only thing that really was annoying was that there was no elevator, and i was placed in the attic room.(room 41) It was hard to get my luggage up to the very narrow sets of stairs leading to the 4th floor.

The staff of the hotel was incredibly nice. However no one informed us before our stay that the hotel was under construction, and when checking in we had to walk through a construction zone with all of our luggage. The hotel is dead center in Amsterdam if that is what your looking for. However if you have heavy luggage or have an injury or are elderly there is NO elevator in the hotel. We had to carry all of our luggage up 4 flights of very narrow, spiraled steps. In top of that, when we were checking in the maid was cleaning rooms and just throwing laundry bags on the stairs, which blocked our entire path up the stairs. The room was fine. At first the sheet looked as if it had bed bugs but it was just lint from the top cover. The bathroom walls had mold on them, and the whole carpet looked like it had seen better days. All in all, while the staff was great, i will 100% not be coming back here any time soon.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we sometimes have to make improvements or repairs to the hotel even when guests are arriving. Thank you for the information about the housekeeping we are using your complaint regarding the laundry bags for training purposes. We always hope that our guests will feel welcome and enjoy their stay with us however it seems that we really missed the mark with you and for that we apologize.
