Great location, near station, and tram stop and shops. Royal Palace and Dam Square nearby. Ideally situated for exploring on foot the many canals. Hotel was very good, friendly helpful staff, rooms very clean, some furniture a little dated but everything clean and tidy. Good restaurant downstairs which serves excellent food including local Dutch cuisine. Would stay here again.

Great location, basic but nice large room, staff excellent, steep stairs if you have trouble with mobility.noisy as trams out front and drunk people but to be expected and not an issue for us. I would stay again

Great location, biggest room we've had in Amsterdam so far, and the price was very reasonable for the time of year. Staff were great, and the food downstairs in the restaurant was nice and reasonably priced. The drinks were on the expensive side, would recommend getting bottles of water from the shop across the road. The cocktails from the draft tap were 14.50 Euros a pop which caught us out a bit.

Hotel was basic but just fine if you’ll be out most the day exploring. The location is great. Funny smell when we arrived but was ok once aired out. No where to store bags so have to pay to store elsewhere which was a bit annoying. Bar downstairs was nice.

Steep stairs to carry your Luggage but location was definitely worth it. Right next door to large church and right at a tram line. Restaurant downstairs was very good. Very short walk to Dam square. Rooms were better than pics we saw.

Love, love, love this place! Stayed here 3 nights in April, 2026 and also 3 nights in April 2025. Place is very cozy. Entire staff is very sweet and helpful! Rooms, restaurant and entire hotel very clean and well kept. Location is amazing! Tram stop is about 15 yards from the door and takes you to the center of Amsterdam, where all the action is. Thanks to everyone there and a special thanks to Amalia!

The location is excellent. It's walking distance from Central Station, Anne Frank Huis, and to the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum. The staff were helpful. It was nice to have the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. The downsides were the steep stairs and having to climb 4 flights; there was no signal on my flat screen, and my key card stopped working 1 day before check out.

This hotel is very centrally located so highly accessible from the train station or trams. It was clean and the restaurant at street level had good food and an outdoor area. Be prepared to climb steep stairs, especially if you are assigned a top floor room as we were. Also, it was an extremely hot period and there is no air conditioning so the top floor was pretty brutal. And you are not able to open the windows. So all in all - great value for money, clean and safe but not good if you want elevated comfort. Staff all friendly though! I would still recommend for the right guests.
