Our room was very nice! We enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness. We also thought the staff was helpful with suggestions. Some restaurants were near by. The trams ran near the hotel. A great experience!!

I know European hotel rooms are small, but the restroom was soooo tiny. The toilet was right next to the sink. I’m 5’5 and I know anyone taller than that would’ve hated it. Lol the walls are fairly thin, I could hear the family in the room next to me. They weren’t too loud so that wasn’t a big problem. They’re strict with their 3pm check in time and you could only leave your bags there if you happen to get there earlier than check in. The hotel itself looks a little outdated. There was a mix of young people and elderly in the hotel room so that was nice.

I checked in here for a weeks holiday. Upon my arrival I was allocated my room which was similar to the one advertised on Expedia. Once I entered I found that my curtains didn’t close properly, and in the evening I was treated to the noise of their industrial washing machines which kept me awake all night. In the morning I phoned reception to complain, and was told that they have another room available for me and I would need to leave my current room, leave my luggage with reception and return in an hour. Once I get back after more than an hour’s wait, I’m told the room still isn’t ready, and I’ll need to wait another hour… I can safely say this ruined my holiday plans for that day. I wait, and once I’m given my new room key, I find it doesn’t work, so return to reception yet again for a replacement key. The new room was a massive downgrade on what I was led to believe I would be getting on Expedia. The walls were marked, and the carpets were covered in black stains. The air conditioning was broken, and a stand alone fan was left for me instead, however all this done was circulate hot hair around the small room. The bathroom was much smaller and the sink blocked, it took forever to drain. I don’t think the bed sheets were changed, just made tidy each day upon request. I made complaints to Expedia who passed these on to the management of the hotel. Management denied all of my claims despite me providing detailed video evidence of everything wrong in the room.

Very nice place. We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. It was just too hot. However, it’s a good budget option within an easy walk to the downtown area and the tram is right out front.

We found the hotel room was overpriced for the quality and style of room. The hotel and room showed signs of wear and tear and our bed base was ripped. We requested a room for two auldets and one child and ended up with two double bed that didn't fit in the room and were touching ends and we couldn't walk around the bed to get to the windows or the handing rails. we had to craw over the beds. No aircondiditon so we had to seep with the wines open and we could hear the venting pitch along the life shaft running all day and night and the bathroom made noise all night after use. the tolitioest provided was a hand

We stayed for 4 nights, with breakfast included. Hotel area of town is excellent, 25 walking minutes from the core center, and this address is part of central Amsterdam anyway. Tram/street car near by- arrives in Amsterdam Centre within 5 minutes. Hotel was smelling great and it looked neat, clean and well kept. Our room was horribly small. Indescribably small - suffocating for two people. Also the hangers and shelves were ridiculously arranged- one could not decide what to put where. Bathroom sink was good if you are a small bird and not a human. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. Needless to say that the bathroom was miniature. There was an issue with a leaking toilet - once we complained it was fixed very fast. There are no air conditioners in this hotel, to our knowledge. Due to mild air temps in Amsterdam, there was no need for one, but be aware! Breakfast area was beautiful. Food was totally ok and choices were good- not too much, not too little. Also vegan options too.
