Room are so clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is quite good compare to price and other hotel in this price in this city. Good service from receptionist. Really love this hotel, i stay here for 6 nights but all day all night here is touching my heart.
Just got back from Amsterdam with the fella and had such a great time. Hotel was perfect! very spacious room, extremely comfy beds! Shower was amazing! Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Transport in the centre was so easy. Tram from the hotel to the centre took around 25-30 mins but for us it was perfect. 48 hour tram pass for €12, and the tram stop was a stones throw away from the hotel. brilliant weekend, brilliant hotel, amazing city! Will 100% be returning!!
Everything very smooth from check in (thank you Alejandra) onwards. Excellent location about 25 mins from central but very close to both metro and tram which are very frequent and well connected, so would recommend a travel card for getting to and from town. The jumbo supermarket nearby is stocked full of goodies, and we hired the bikes to go to the nearby forest on one of the days. It is also very very close to the airport. We would stay here again, if we were returning to amsterdam!
Very clean, and stuff where helpful . Hotel close to metro . Close yo hotel Axas football ground . Some shops to . Nice quite area . I would go again if I had to . I suggest a high floor for view . Breakfast was good especially the pastries
We were in Amsterdam for a whole week and, even if, apparently far from the city center, our stay at this hotel was the greatest choice we could make. The tram and the metro lines which are getting to the city center and to the Amsterdam Centraal are at a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There are other few shops and a big supermarket Jumbo near the hotel. We didn't take the dinner near the hotel, so I cannot say anything about close restaurants but I know for sure that there are at least 2, as I saw some posters saying so. The room was pleasant, clean, big enough with a lot of places for our clothes and luggage. The bathroom is also big and clean. The room was cleaned every day with no exception during all our 7 days here. The breakfast is ok, I think it's perfect for a 2-3 nights stay because you can vary the products. For a 7 days stay, it is a little bit boring in choices, but still reasonable. I have nothing to complain about, even if it would be awesome if a minibar would be available in the room. When we'll visit Amsterdam again, I'm sure that this hotel will be again our no.1 on the list.
From Amsterdam South railway station take Metro 51 'Westwijk' and at the 3th stop 'Van Boshuizenstraat' you get off the metro and from there its only a 2 minute walk to the hotel. I booked a standard single room. I founded it big enough for me. Furthermore it was very clean. I noticed in my room that there were no towels in my room. After a call with the reception, within 5 minutes someone had brought some towels. That's a fast response time. So thumbs up for housekeeping and reception. If you have work to do at the 'Zuidas' this hotel is a good option. Within a few minutes you are at the business district. For people who want to have easy access to the city center but want to stay in a quiet environment without the hectic nightlife, this also would be a good option to stay. With the taxi from city center back to hotel costed me around 26 euro. With the metro/tram its much cheaper, but they do not ride 24hrs. Overall I had a good stay and It was nice to experience a different brand within the IHG group.
I was here for only 2 night due to business in Amsterdam. It was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was a little bit corny - not so many things you could choose. The staff was very nice and helpfull. The location is good for business.
The hotel is not close to the city proper, so this is perfect to those who would like to escape from the crowded and noisy streets in the city. Its in the quiet location and I felt secure in the are. The hotel is a few minutes away from Amsterdam Zuid station. So from Schipol, take a train that stops at Amsterdam Zuid. Then take the tram or metro to the hotel. Tram line num 5 is recommended if you will go to the city proper from the hotel. It departs often but it can be crowded on the weekends specially at night. It can happen that you will stand in your whole trip. The metro line 51 is also an alternative. The hotel is very spacious, big beds somewhat hard but o. The bathroom is spacious and clean but a bit cold, but maybe its me who dosent know how to adjust the temperature. The pillows are big and comfortable. Breakfast is not very luxurious but ok. There is a grocery nearby and some shops like liqour shop, delicacy shop, tobacco shop etc.The hotel employees are very helpful, nice, polite and willing to give you some advice about your sight seeing in Amsterdam. Take note that you will pay tourist tax in the hotel. It is also possible to buy 3 day tram7metro/bus ticket in the hotel.
We stayed two nigh s from nye to 2nd, and from the welcoming invite to the spacious comfortable room it was great. Location was fine for us as we had a car, fifteen mins to central, or a tram. Really recommend
Had a lovely stay here. The staff were all very cheerful and helpful. There is seating in the reception/lobby area which was good to sit in as a change to our room. At times the reception area was very busy, but the receptionists coped very calmly and professionally. However at busy times they could possibly do with another member of staff to call on to serve bar drinks. We did have to wait about 30 minutes one evening for an alcoholic drink, as the two ladies on reception were so busy checking guests in. There is no restaurant at the hotel. Supermarket Jumbo which is just adjacent to the hotel is well stocked though, and open til 10pm. There is a vending machine in the reception area for bottled drinks and snacks. The receptionists also have details on nearby takeaways that can deliver to the hotel. The continental breakfast was extremely good and items were kept replenished. They do cater for kosher diets too. The hotel is very clean, quiet at night, and well kept. The bedroom had ample storage, seating and space for us. It has blackout curtains which work well. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and an excellent shower. I found the bed and pillows comfortable. It looked like we had two single beds put together rather than a double, but we were happy with that. The location of the hotel was very convenient for us, being near our relatives that live nearby, and being near to transport into and out of the city centre. There are a few shops nearby which were interesting to look in. Bought a beautiful bunch of flowers in the flower shop to take when visiting our relatives. The only two slight niggles are no loo brush to give the toilet a quick wipe round, and the heating had a maximum heat set on it which was a little too low for me, but delighted my partner who prefers a cooler bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.
