I love this hotel and stay here anytime I come to Amsterdam. It is so convenient, the staff are amazing, always accommodating and friendly. The rooms are lovely, clean and the walk in shower is to die for!

The reception staff play a big role on first impressions. My family and I felt welcome upon our arrival--staff greeting, smiling and being helpful. We stayed on the 7th floor. We liked the the elevators were fast. The hallway leading to our room was clean. Our room, 1 queen and 1 twin bed was spacious. We like the large windows for natural lighting. Room amenities were sufficient (coffee maker/coffee/tea and also a small fridge). Ice buckets for the room would have been nice rather than having ice in plastic bags. We had a very comfortable stay and we would stay here again should we find ourselves back in Amsterdam.

We arrived early and were charged €5 per hour to check in, even though the room was ready — something most hotels offer for free. Staff were rude, the place was dirty, towels were cheap, and supply trucks came through the guest entrance. Overall, a horrible stay. Not recommended.

Great location, and reasonable price for Amsterdam. Comfortable beds. We felt safe in and around the place. There *was* a large building support in part of our room (which I had not anticipated), but it was okay. The coffee maker was difficult to make work at first, then someone came and fixed it. The machine for weighing bags was not working properly, so we lost 2 euro.

Decent hotel at a good price - good for short stay. Service was pretty good. My only complaint is that the shower made a shrieking noise when turning to hot, and even then the water was only lukewarm. Otherwise pretty standard hotel.
