We loved the area, the bar, the people and the seating.. just a few cons:: tv was difficult tj operate I think it was out of service, instead of the coatrack would live a dresser with a mirror over it so the ladies could do hair and makeup while others are showering.. bed was so comfy!! Shane was great at check in as well… I found the breakfast menu to be limited and prices were a bit high. Will definitely stay here again.
The pool was very nice, and views of the ocean were great. But that is it! There is no TV options as you have to login to Chrome TV but we tried and the app didn't work. There are no phones in the room to call for assistance and the young people working the desk dot know how to help. There is no parking, only half as many spots as there are rooms. They need to charge more per night and get real TV and make a parking lot.
Close to a three star that could be a 5 star. Pool and rooms are so new an clean. cafe prices are ridiculous. checking in was with a new guy, so grace and love is what I will say. Zero extras (coffee in room, etc...). So, prayers for the owners; so much competition on that strip of beach, so much potential, but could go under... Does that make sense?
Recently remodeled and everything looked great! Staff was extremely friendly. View was spectacular. Room was clean and cozy.
The website promised several things ( like a microwave) that the room didn’t have. The area had very limited WI-FI and NO TV unless you had a separate service, which we don’t, but the website mentioned the size of the TV. The owner was very nice and got us the promised microwave but the room wasn’t ready until 30 minutes after check in time and the staff seemed not to know what they were doing.
York Harbor Motel is fine. It's a little shabby, with banged up furniture and some junk lying around the property, but the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable and it's a great location across from the beach. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. The fact that you can bring your dog and stay in a dog friendly room is also quite great. But, all that said, the price seems a bit high given the outdated quality of the rooms.
Room was ready on time. Staff helpful with a billing issue and we were promptly refunded an overcharge. Very family friendly hotel.
It is a very nice hotel right on the beach. The hotel has a lot of character and shows signs of age but to fix the buildings and fully renovate would require removing the entire building which would cause the hotel to lose it's character. Was nice to spend the night sitting out on the balcony and listening to ocean.
Stay for a quick overnight visit. Was quiet and clean, had all the necessities.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback! Unfortunately, we have been experiencing some issues with the Chrome TVs, and will hopefully be switching to a new system soon! All front desk agents are trained on the TVs, however, if it is a wifi connectivity issue, this is all done by the system itself. At this point, there is only so much help staff can offer. As far as parking goes. There are approximately 2 spots for every room on the property. We have parking towards the front of the hotel, and a large parking area behind our Bungalows. We are very sorry your experience was not up to your expectations and will look into how we can rectify these issues more. I am sorry that you had some challenges with the Cafe pricing, we continue to make changes based on other restaurants in the area, and or pricing is right in the middle of those that are comparable.
