Breakast wasn't as good as in past stays. Food was dry and cold.

They had an emergency in the room above us and workmen were up there at 9:30 pm making noise . Had to complain TWICE in order to get them to stop working. We had a terrible evening.

Amazing location and views. Quiet and Beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was a bit small, but I had 4 people staying in a room, the only room available so that's on me not them. Difficulty figuring out how to turn the shower on and off. Also I guess to save energy the fridge in turned off. You need to find the knob, install it, then plug it in. Te towels were very plush, the bed was quite comfortable, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Awesome views!! Clean facility. Friendly staff. I would definitely return if back in the area.

Check in was well-run considering the pandemic! We felt very safe our entire stay. Amenities were not compromised, and we truly felt as though we enjoyed a full experience. The short path to the beach was such a wonderful perk with a 2 year old. Other beaches in the area were too crowded on a weekend to even park, so having access to the small beach really made our vacation. Location cannot be beat; add in the attention to detail, fantastic food (we ate nearly all our meals at Shearwater at the Inn!), and warm and efficient staff- we will be back!

At resorts like this you expect the management to be friendly and more helpful. Not telling you "thats how we do things here". Won't be back.

We paid over 4000 dollars in total for our room and we hear toilets flushing and we heard loads of noise, waited over an hour for lunch when it was not busy as all. The beds were not comfortable at all.

Lovely lounge and restaurant. Good food and friendly service.

nickel dimed me on 'additional' charges. Maid fee? Service charges? C'mon...$300/night and you do that?

Quiet setting and staff was very friendly. Beach was very close and the Food was very good. Big portions!

The hotel was great. We were very pleased with the location and wish we had more time to spend on the resort. We were there for a wedding. The food and service were very good.

the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, food is fresh and the service is fantastic.

The Room was lovely. It has every amenity that you would need. The restaurant was attractive and the food was good, especially the breakfast buffet. There was a piano player during our dinner, and he could have played a little softer. Everything was wonderful. We met my sister-in-law and brother-in-law there. They were staying for three days, and we were only able to stay for one. My disappointment was that my sister-in-law received a nice Stage Neck Inn bag with a candy bar in it, but I did not. I was going to ask at the desk why I did not receive one, but my sister-in-law gave me hers since they have been there many times. The only other problem for me was, since I smoke, there was no smoking on all of the property. Since it is on a very large piece of land, I had to walk quite a ways just to have a cigarette. I understand if they prefer to have no smoking rooms, but I should be able to smoke outside. I personally would not stay there again for this reason.

First, and foremost, I did not take a copy of the quote you gave me. Second, I realized I had selected the wrong week. Called the hotel the same evening and changed to the following week and confirmed that the rate was the same. The confirmation letter may have inferred a change. When I changed the reservation date I was told that ocean view rooms were not available but that I would have 'partial water view.' The view was I could see the high water mark of the adjacent cove. The room did not have any comfortable chairs and I could not be comfortable to read and/or look out upon the water. After much discussion I was able to cancel the second night, but I was billed $288.90 for the one night. It was not until I got home and was able to check your confirmation and email of June 5th. I WAS TAKEN, BUT GOOD!!! Can you help get me my refund? More details available if desired. Thanks. Thanks Ivan Lubash How do I contact you by phone?

It is my second time at this hotel. The last time, I was with my family and I loved the place. This time,I came back by myself to rest and enjoy the sea.

This hotel is beautiful with great scenery. The only bad thing was we had early check in and were not able to check in until 3pm. Staff was super friendly.

Good Morning, I do apologize for the excessive noise at 9 PM. As I indicated at check out there was an emergency situation that had to be handled immediately. I'm pleased that I was able to compensate the lovely couple for having been disturbed and am hopeful they will join us again in the very near future. Regards: Brenda Hembrow Manager - Stage Neck Inn

We are sorry that you didn't have a pleasant stay with us. We don't usually hear complaints about noise, I would love to talk to you, so that we could address what room you were in for the noise and the uncomfortable bed. I will also pass on your comments about the wait time to the Food & Beverage Manager. We know you have a choice in lodging and hope you would give us another try.
