PROS: Comfortable bedding, good breakfast with savory rather than only sweet options. Hotel has pool (although cold), and easy access to most amenities. No smell of smoke anywhere in the hotel - which was I why I booked it as an asthmatic. CONS: #1: We were placed in a room in the basement of the property, and it was VERY damp. I would have requested a different room, but my dad was so excited to have a room close to the pool, and I didn't have the heart to stomp on his glee. The next morning I woke up coughing from the dampness that hung in the air, and the damp clothing my mother had hung out to dry was just as wet as the night before. Our second night was much better and not nearly as damp - so maybe it was a weather thing? I have no doubt rooms on upper floors would have felt dryer, because the lobby was fine. #2: Our bathroom suffered from an infestation of centipedes. Each time we went in, we could see some crawling around on the floor. We would squash them, but then there would be more the next time we used the bathroom. I doubt that the rooms on upper floors had similar problems. #3: Upon check-in around 8 pm, there was nobody at the desk, only a sign saying they were away and would return shortly. We were third in line and it sounds like the gentleman before us waited at least 20 minutes before anyone came. OVERALL: I think this is a pretty good hotel, and my experience would have been better had I requested a room change. Don't stay in the basement!

We liked the complimentary breakfast, fruits and cookies . We liked the pool. Would have been better if the water was a little warmer.

My experience was horrible. I rented a one-bedroom suite. When I made the reservation, I called the hotel directly to discuss the floor plan of the room. We needed the bedroom separated from the living area as a separate room (with a wall and a door) in order to block the sound of one person who snores very loudly. I was told that the bedroom was totally separate from the living area (with a wall and a door), so the suite would be great for us. When I arrived, we found that our "one-bedroom suite" was set up with an alcove for the bedroom. A wall separated part of the bedroom from the living area. Unfortunately, the rest of the bedroom area was totally open and NOT separated from the living area. When I was at the hotel, the person at the front desk told me that ALL the one-bedroom suites had similar open floor plans, so there was no way to move us to a unit that was designed as a one-bedroom unit. This resulted in my NOT BEING ABLE TO SLEEP and then needing to drive over 400 miles the next day. This was a horrible experience for me. I shall never stay at this hotel (or other Hampton hotels) again.

...after a long day of sight-seeing in DC on Saturday, we returned just before midnight and found our room had somehow been missed for housekeeping. Front desk had only one fresh bath towel on hand and wasn’t thrilled about looking for more. This was in the middle of a four-night stay. Disappointing, and it undoes all the good feelings we otherwise had about the hotel.

Not much to say other than its any other hotel. The rooms should have been laid out better since it was clear they took the cheap route in not using concrete when building the hotel. We could clearly hear people using the bathroom, their tv, noises from outside and from inside the hallway. The bed was also very uncomfortable. Other than those 2 issues, for the price, it was a below-standard stay. Had we stayed in the hotel for more than one day, the lack of sleep would have certainly hampered our reason for staying. We ultimately chose this hotel due to room doors being located inside the hotel and for it looking to be more secure than available options in the area.

Hotel staff was very helpful fixing problems with reservation and making stay enjoyable. Very comfortable room and good breakfast selection. Highly recommend.

Hotel was nicely furnished, staff friendly and hot breakfast very good.

Nice king size bed with comfortable bedding. Very clean. There was a wedding party and they were loud upon their return.

Overall this was a nice hotel . It was fairly full so we booked a no view room. That meant it was on the lower level with the swimming pool . The room was ok but the hallway smelled bad . Price was the same as other rooms, I would go to this hotel again but avoid the no view rooms.

We've stayed here before because of its great location. Nice staff, comfy bed and clean.

We were in town for a funeral -- but at least we did not have to be concerned about a place to stay. The service was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable, so that we could attend to our more important business at hand. I's like to go back for a more pleasant occasion!

Was there for sightseeing. Convenient to I-66. Hop, skip, and jump to Skyline Drive. Wonderful staff that I expect from this chain. They must have been pretty booked because there was not much of a discount off rack rate.

1. Convienent location for visiting Skyline Drive. 2. Big room and comfortable bed. I had sofa, study table and crib in my room. 3. Very helpful and friendly staff. 4. Near wal-mart, Mc, Target so can do some shopping while you are there. 5. Nice quality soaps, shampoo. 6. I forgot my toothpaste and the staff provided me a new colgate.

The reception staff was friendly and very helpful suggesting restaurant choices. The room was very clean and nice.
