Happy with the stay at mainstays
It smelled really bad by the elevators. Kids were running up and down the hallways half the night. Several kids were in the breakfast area playing cards and yelling really loud curse words etc. our room was on 2nd floor where the opening is to look down in the lobby so we heard everything. We used the pull out sofa and there were no extra pillows sheets or blankets.
Nice location for accessing all of Wilmington.
Another great stay. Facility is still undergoing renovation, so there are some less than stellar areas. Staff were pleasant and professional
I would definitely choose this property for my next visit to your area. I will also recommend it to family and friends.
I requested a wake up call and no call came in. I had 3 girls that I had to get ready for a flight and if it wasn't for me being an early riser and an alarm on my cell phone I could have missed my flight.

We stayed on the 3rd floor. We are not smokers and were in a non smoking room, but as soon as we got off the elevator the whole floor reeked of tobacco. The last night, our room also reeked. It was hard to sleep with the small and we left with our clothes smelling too.
Ease of check in and check out. Didn't mind sharing a pool with the neighboring hotel. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Would consider staying here again, except I really wanted to be closer to the beach.

Most of our stay we spent at the beach but when we got back to the room it was a comfortable stay. Clean room and clean restroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
My stay was great. Everyone was great. Every thing that I would ask for I would get. It was close to everything. The beach shopping and eating. All a round I had great time and stay. would do again. and I'm going to soon.
The hotel was precisely as advertised. It is a well kept property, inside and out. It is conveniently located about midway between Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington. The staff was friendly and courteous and check-in was quick and easy.
We stayed here for my daughter's graduation from UNCW. We needed a handicapped accessible room for my mother and their room was perfect for her. Bathroom had a roll-in shower, and there was plenty of room in the suite. Kitchen had all we needed. It was close to school and town. Breakfast was average. I would stay here again if I go back to Wilmington
My significant other and I had an amazing stay at this Hotel. Great amenities and everything. Plan on staying again at this hotel.

Our family could not have been happier with MainStay! The staff was great!!! It was a very stormy weekend, and they let us check in early and actually check out late just to give us a couple of hours at the beach in between rain showers before we drove back home. I highly recommend this hotel!
Nice semi-central location for everything except not as close to beaches as desired. Stay was ok. Recliner was broken and never fixed as promised. Had to go get towels because they didn't bring them all day. Trash was not picked up. Furniture was dated. Beds were comfy. Good breakfast and pool.

On behalf of our staff I would like to apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I will reach out to the front desk staff on ensuring that after hours our guest are keeping the volume to a minimum. As for the linens I apologize for them not being in the room, however there is always extra linens at the front desk upon request.
