This was a clean, comfortable, and elegant option for us as we visited our kids at W and M for Parents Weekend. Parking was easy and accessible to town via a short drive. Property had a very tranquil, rural ambiance. Both desk attendants we met were very friendly. We were sorry that we could not stay longer and take the wine tour, but something to look forward to next time.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, comfortable beds. The wine tasting was a nice amenity. Would’ve appreciated being able to have coffee before 8am, and the continental breakfast was confusing, but good. The hotel is charming, but be aware you can hear every creek when people walk in halls. Other guests were yelling late at night in hall-a night employee should’ve helped control that.

Enjoyed the complimentary self serve wine dispenser and the 1 hr short wine tasting tour. Our guide was excellent. Our food at the Tabern was also excellent! I had the summer salad and crab cakes with pearled couscous. And cannolis for dessert. All staff was very friendly everywhere we went.

The hotel is located within a vineyard with beautiful scenery. However, the hotel facilities are too old. We couldn’t sleep all night because of the big noises from footsteps, talking, and running water from the room upstairs from 1:00AM to 4:00AM.
