This two bedroom unit had large rooms with all amenities anyone would want or need. There were three separate rooms for sleeping even though it was advertised as a two bedroom. Washer and Dryer were also part of the unit.
For our stay we were in one of the 3 unit townhouses. This is 2 units side by side with the 3rd unit upstairs. Sadly you could hear people walking upstairs and you could hear people talking next door. The unit is nicely laid out but the bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor. The kitchen has pots, pans, and so forth but only a VERY little salt and pepper shaker. If you plan on doing any cooking or using the outside grills you will need to bring your own seasonings. Also don't forget plastic wrap and or foil. You are provided 2 packages of coffee. The pools, gym, and outside areas are all great. Property is centrally located.
We were part of 3 couples who took advantage of a special 4-night stay with other freebies in exchange for a 2-hour sales presentation. The sales presentation was informative & fun without the high pressure that we've experienced elsewhere. The accommodations were average - the only major issue that we encountered was the lack of wireless available in the individual units. We recieved free passes to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown & Yorktown but were surprised to learn that we had to pay $40 to $50 cart fees for our "free" rounds of golf. It was still a great deal but they should have been up front with us when we booked the package. Concierge service was nice but they messed up on one of our two golf rounds.
Everything was adequate, but had NO amenities at the resort. Used to have a game room with pinball machines & pool table - all gone & substituted X-Box. The pillows on the last leg were very hard and furniture uncomfortable.
I have stayed in Williamsburg many times over the years and particularly liked this property. It was quiet and convenient to friends and family in the area. Was able to easily go to Suffolk, Midlothian, Powhatan, the Eastern shore and Norfolk. We also made a couple of trips to Surry and Smithfield via the Jamestown Scotland free ferry.
Nice. Comfortable.Clean. Spent one day at Busch Gardens. Spent part of day Ripleys believe or not and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Museum. Ate at Food for Thought - very good.Ate in kitchenat cottages -very good.
Loved the location of the resort, The staff at King's Creek Plantation is the best hands down. The resort had all we needed and more. The condo was in great condition and all the facility's were well kept. Used the gym and the pools.
Signed up for this timeshare in February at the 2019 Chicago Golf Show in Chicago. I received a call approx. 1 month later from a representative asking if I wanted to book the actual date to stay at Kings Creek. I booked for the first week in October. Representative that I spoke with was nice but did remind me more than once that I would be required to attend a 90 minute presentation in order to get the discounted price for the room and golf. I was offered a $100 Visa gift card, wine tasting or tickets to Busch Gardens for attending the presentation. I chose the $100 gc. In late September I decided to finally look at the golf courses that were offered. I was pleased with the reviews of the courses and the discounted price for green/cart fees. I also began looking at reviews on tripadvisor. I immediately got scared that I had made a really bad decision. We decided to go anyways. My wife and I and our best friends stayed in a two bedroom apartment which King's Creek Plantation calls the Townes. It is more like a two and one half bedroom as there is separate room that includes a pull out couch and tv. The Townes that we stayed in contained a full living room with fireplace, dining room and full kitchen. We had 2 full bathrooms with entrances from the bedrooms. We didn't really use the kitchen as we dined out every day. The beds were comfy and the decor was up to date as were the furnishings. We golfed the Kiskiach, Golden Horseshoe Green, the King's Mill Plantation and River courses. All courses were in great shape and the views from the River course are amazing! Now to what I thought was going to be the worst part of the trip the timeshare meeting. Our meeting was scheduled on Friday at 9am. My wife and I walked to the meeting and were promptly greeted when we entered the room. I filled out a short survey which included my total household income. We were then greeted by a gentleman who took use to another room, offered us donuts and coffee and then sat us down. He was very nice and good at his job. Explained that we should be taking 4-6 vacations a year (hahaha I wish). Anyways we said we couldn't afford it and he sent us up stairs like other people have said. Another gentleman gave us the low low price which we declined again. He then showed us to a lady who gave us the $100 gc and the winery tickets (we did not use them). All in all I would recommend King's Creek Plantation!!
We recently went to Kings Creek Plantation for one of their promoted time share presentations. It was for 5 days and 4 nights at a cost of about $250.00 (if I remember correctly) and for that we would receive a $100.00 Visa git card and the use of several nearby golf courses at no charge; we just need to pay a "Cart Fee" per person. (More on that in a moment) We checked in and found our room to be rather small. One bedroom, Living / Dining area, Tiny kitchen area, and a bathroom that wasn't planned out very well. (I've had shower stalls on cruise ships that were bigger than this shower). Upon further inspection we found a white powder on all the flat surfaces in the bathroom (we believe they did some drywall patch work and didn't clean up properly). We slept that night and went to our "presentation" at 9 AM the next morning) It was high pressure but at least they took NO for an answer without much more talking. We then went to the front desk to change our room and were told there would be a $50.00 cleaning fee because we slept in the room one night. I said absolutely not and they rescinded. We moved to our new room and found it almost exactly like the first room but it was clean. The property itself is quite nice and clean. However, we didn't feel like they offered very many amenities. About the free golf and just pay a cart fee … They would be much more accurate if they said you get greatly reduced green fees as the "Cart Fee" ranged from $25.00 -75.00 per person depending on the course you chose to play. The courses (we played 3 times) were very nice resort courses with much higher green fees than we actually ended up paying. Overall, I would say that they didn't make a very good impression considering the fact that we were there as potential buyers at their property.
We have an extended family vacation with three units and asked them to be beside each other because of small children going from unit to unit. I called three times to make sure this would be the case, and I got there they said it wasn’t possible. Very disappointed in the service especially when I make sure to call multiple times. Had to call 2 times to get a porch lightbulb changed. Kept tripping in the dark on an unusual step sequence, The wireless didn’t stay on. Kept getting knocked off. Had it half the time. I understand there job is to get you to a presentation. In checking in we said we weren’t interested in going, and the day they signed us up we had tickets for elsewhere. Then each day after hung a tag on our door signing us up for each morning thereafter. They didn’t take no for an answer. Persistence at times can be irritating when all you want to do is spend time with your family.
