The entrance is immaculate the rooms were ok, but obvious signs of rushed renovation. Staff was nice. Drinks were delicious.

Location was perfect for my purposes. Staff was friendly & helpful. The "common" floors (no key access required) were a bit shabby. My room was clean with fresh linens & empty wastebaskets but it positively reeked of mildew. The fridge did not get cooler that body temperature. Found several unidentified charges on my card when I got home. They've assured me they will be charged back. Overall a "meh" experience.

The staff was so accommodating! They were friendly, helpful and even provided transportation to a local attraction so I could see the local Rose Gardens.

We stayed at this hotel despite negative reviews from others, because 25 years ago it is where we attended our prom together. One of the reasons for staying there was to eat at the restaurant we ate at then, but their sign was so confusing about the hours and there was nothing in the info in the rooms about the restaurant, so we missed our opportunity, and it was very disappointing. The sign said it was open certain hours on Sat-Sun, then under that it said Sun-Sat. Granted, we should've read more carefully, but when both sets of hours seem to refer to the weekend and there are so many hours listed for mornings and evenings, we just dismissed the idea and thought they were closed. It would be much better if it said "Open daily for dinner" so there wouldn't be confusion and guests wouldn't have to get out a calendar to chart available hours. We looked through all the information in the room, and though there were hours and menus for other restaurants in town, there was nothing about the hotel's restaurants, so it seemed that their hours were as limited as we thought. Besides missing out on something we've looked so forward to, we have good things to say. It would've been nice to be put in a renovated room, since so many of the comments say the renovations are almost finished, etc., but our room was fine. Our fridge didn't work, but when we reported it and told them I needed food in the room because I'm pregnant, someone replaced the fridge with a working one within 20-30 minutes, was very nice, and apologetic. Our alarm clock went off at 3 a.m., I'm guessing from the people who were in the room before us. That was kind of annoying, but something we're already laughing about. Overall, we're happy with the room, staff, and how they addressed our concerns. When we were checking out, we asked for to go cups and the front desk clerk was happy to give us some. We will always remember that we didn't get to relive eating at their restaurant (and that the meal we had to go out & get wasn't all that great & the driving took away from our time together). That really would've made it special since we've talked about going back there for the past 4-5 years and I finally surprised my husband with a stay at the hotel that already holds memories for us. We're not in a position to stay at hotels often, so that was probably our only chance for several more years to come.

Came in for my ulumni tennis day and it was great. My room was ready. The staff was really nice and helpful. I actually stayed an extra day and it wasn't a problem.

Hotel was great...shame I couldn't get a Friday and Saturday night stay.

Well, i m thinking thats it going to be so luxuirous and a nice layout..But its all hype. Yes its the tallest Hotel in the tyler but for as presentation is sucks. The room was $138 with taxes but when i got to the front desk it was $141 and some change. Didn't mind it but if Orbitz says on price then why not honor it. They had the nerve to charge an incidental Fee of $30, as if some one was really trying destroy something that was already broken. For example, the sliding closet door was broken and off track. That showed me that dont really check anything...I could've went to the Marriott down the street for the same price and got a Suite with a jucuzzi in my room..Was very disappointed.. Never again

we chose this hotel because of the movies by the pool however we didn't even get to see it because they started early. Room wasn't the cleanest. For the price, I won't stay there again.

we only stayed a night and I'm glad for that. We chose this hotel because of the poolside movies. The movie was supposed to start at 8 pm however the staff started it early at 7 pm without letting anyone know. My three year old was very disappointed. Also from the kiddie pool you can't really see the movie. When we went to go to sleep apparently our room was close to one of their meeting rooms where people were laughing and screaming until 2 am. The room wasn't the cleanest and it looked like someone had already used some of the shampoo and conditioner bottles that were in our room. Overall, wasn't my best experience and I will not stay there again.

We were in a tennis tournament for the weekend. We didn't know until we checked in at the tournament that our hotel was the host hotel for the tournament players. Since we booked through you, Orbitz, we didn't get the hotel rate of 79.99. I am very upset! Because of this unfortunate event, I will prpbably never book through one of these services again.

We enjoyed our stay, just a little issue with the wireless internet. But otherwise a pretty good stay. They allowed us to check out at 2pm which was nice because our wedding was later in the day.
